  1. I installed both Arma 2 and Arma 2:OA. However, shortly after startup of the game, the screen will spaz out a bit graphically. Then the screen either goes black or transparent (where I can see my desktop, but not interact with it). I can click ESC, which will then show me my cursor (but the screen will remain black). I can ALT+TAB to return to my desktop and close the game.

I've tried uninstalling both Arma 2 and Arma2:OA from Steam, then reinstalling just Arma 2. However, this did not fix anything. Likewise, I attempted to change the Video settings in-game. Usually it crashes before I can change it, but I did manage to change it to match my computer monitor settings once (to 1920 x Whatever), but that didn't solve the issue either.

I also tried booting the game in windowed-mode, but it still crashes and then tells me the "Display driver stopped responding and recovered". I have the latest display driver though, which is 301.42. Likewise, I don't have this issue with any other game, including BF3.

My computer specs are above and beyond what's needed for this game. They are as follows:

    Graphics cards:

SLI (x2) EVGA GeForce GTX 570

    CPU:

    Intel Core i7-2600K 3.4GHz Quad-Core

    CPU Cooler:

Corsair Hydro Series H60 74.4 CFM Liquid

    Memory:

    Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600

    Motherboard:

    ASRock Z68 Professional Gen3 ATX LGA1155

    Harddrives:

OCZ Vertex 3 120GB 2.5" SSD (for main OS)

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM (for Steam, etc.)

    Power Supply:

    Corsair 750W ATX12V / EPS12V

    Monitor:

    Asus VW246H 24.0"

    OS: Windows 7

    :EDITH:

Just an update. I managed to get it working by turning off SLI for just this game in the Nvidia Settings . Of course, that deeply saddens me as I didn't buy 2 graphics cards so that I could just use 1. If anyone knows how to get Arma 2 to work with SLI, please let me know.
