Cannot open Zargabad

[Cannot open Zargabad]

From inside the steam game browser, r-click on ArmA2 OA and select "properties", click on "local files" tab and then click "verify integrity of game cache".

I was able to get it to work to the point where there's an "error creating direct3D 9 graphical engine" but I think i saw a thread for that. Thanks!

Did you use "verify file/game integrity" from within steam yet?

I'm not sure what you're talking about. No I haven't done that.

I'm trying to use the steam installed version of OA and the moment I attempt to play it I get the messge:

"cannot open file c:\\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\addons\zargabad.pbo"

I think DayZ requires the latest beta patch. It will take some tinkering to get the beta patch to run with the Steam-version of the game. I have the latest and greatest version of OA and it still didn't work... it seems that something went wrong during the installation but i'm not sure. I'm not sure how to re-install OA from steam either.

please help :) I just want to play DayZ
