    ACRE2 Stable Release

The radio GUI scales badly with widescreen monitors. I presume the radios scale following the horisontal resolution which makes for problems for people with 2560x1080 resolutions such as myself, especially on the 152. In addition, are you possibly looking into adding extra sounds for when you press buttons and such? Videos like these would surely help.

    US Military Mod (80s 90s)

This makes me super happy. Your unit pack was definately one of my favorite mods for Arma 2 period. I would personally prefer to have the option to grab the units without era-realistic weapons at all rather than have such a large depencency as CUP which isn't exactly on par with the quality you provide yourself. Looking forward to updates!
  3. You managed to negate the bright skies, nice job. :D Arma 3 has always had a pretty neutral color palette in my opinion, at least when compared to Arma 2. That said it's always fun to experiment with Sweetfx/reshade to make the game just a bit more "your own". :) I used your setup as the basis for my own configuration, removed the color grading, lowered all effects to my own liking and added a subtle vignette effect. Screenshots here: https://imgur.com/a/bZaS4#0 If anyone wants my configuration (goes in the reshade folder): http://a.pomf.cat/dwmlfk.zip
  4. I'm with you, without an update the mod is pretty unplayable for Arma 3 users. Looking forward to it.
  5. Great mod, it might seem subtle but the impact on gameplay is big. I hope in the future BIS can take notice from this. Don't make RO2 screams part of the mod, they are indeed too extreme. If anything make them optional. Keep up the good work. :)
  6. I'm wondering if the treating of minor wounds is going to change in the future. As it is, with advanced medical enabled, when you treat a small wound you end up having to give yourself morphine in most cases. This however causes the heartrate to significantly drop giving you the very loud audio queue (heart beats). To get of this you obviously need epinephrine, causing the heart rate to go up again. This back and forth micro management of the heart rate for minor wounds seem odd and I'm curious if the effect of morphine is going to change in the future.
  7. Great to hear kju, it' super to have people still updating this project. Much appreciated. :) If anything I'd like the grenade thing looked into like I mentioned, because as it is it can take 5-10 seconds for grenade shrapnel to finish flying in a multiplayer environment with +-15 people.

    Niko's Uniforms Mega Packs

Excuse me for bumping, but a release of the flat color variants of the US uniforms would be super to have, for anything from police units to PMCs.
  10. Shame about the no recoil thing, just as we were thinking about having another Iron Front event for the group. At the same time I tested the Iron Front mod again noticed that tossing vanilla grenades just drops them to the ground. Tossing Iron Front grenades works fine, only the issue is that the fragmentation they cause really halts performance in multiplayer environments, which is why I wanted to try using vanilla Arma grenades instead.
  11. Me and someone else mentioned the MP5 pack causing server crashes. With the recent CBA update we (me and my group anyway) are now able to launch the server with it enabled, no problems. Just letting you know.
  12. Our server also crashes after trying to add the MP5 pack to it. It's worth looking into. Our server does not run battleye.
  13. Nice to see L_ES getting a major update like this. :) Will be sure to try it out. In my personal opinion however I prefer the forest reverb that you showcased in an older video.
  14. Congrats on the 1.0 release! Looking forward to what you can bring to us in future updates.
  15. This is a minor thing, but medical supplies are spread out at very large distances when treating someone. This is facing away from where 3 people were treated for wounds. You might already be aware of this, but anyway.
  16. Great looking screenshots. How is the polygon count in comparison with the vanilla games counterpart?
  17. I've been running @volumelevels for a few sessions and my impressions are mixed. The gun sounds are louder and more differentiated from the environmental sounds, which is good, but I feel that it basically only applies to your own gun. In a fire fight your own gun is like the loudest thing ever, whereas the people right next to you sound like they are far away. Maybe their weapons aren't touched by this addon? Maybe you want to differentiate the players gun from the rest by making it be more pronounced for the player, but simply turning the volume knob on it seems like the wrong approach in my opinion. In real life you hear the mechanics of the gun, the sound of you releasing the trigger, you feel the recoil as well as simply hear a broader range of the guns sound including the lower frequencies. Maybe it'd be easiest to simply lower the gun volume of the player so that it doesn't stick out so much, because I feel that it's a bit too loud right now. It would still retain a different soundscape since the environmental sounds are quieter still.
  18. Stellar job with the map. It might look flat from a first glimpse, but the detail in the heightmap really gives you a lot of elevated terrain that gives the map a lot of character. Also the buildings are really nice. I must ask though, where are the tunnels located? I cannot find them after searching for quite a while... Keep up the good work.
  19. Looking forward to the new features that ACE3 will provide. I hope the AGM- and CSE devs have as much a say on the development of this project as they did with their own. The dedication of the AGM devs really impressed me. I never used CSE so I can't really talk about that.
  20. I prefer the new sound, it's fitting for a 6.5mm caliber. The short pop makes it sound good in automatic fire, too. However, with the lack of distinguishable tail it feels a bit rudimentary, as if you're not entierly sure where you are as the shooter. Also good points Defunkt!

    JSRS3: DragonFyre

Nice update. Gunshots and explosions won't ever feel as loud as they actually are in real life if the other elements in the game wuch as weather effects and ambience are also loud. Since a lot of the vanilla BIS sounds are loud as they are by default, I can imagine how easy it could be to fall into the trap where you must increase the volume of your own sounds to make them stick out. Looking forward to future updates. :)
  22. Really liking this addon. Looking forward to future ones! ;)
  23. Just wanted to thank you guys for the mod. Since I first tested it out after sticking to ACRE1 I was pleasantly surprised by the featureset and streamlined functionality that lets you focus on getting your radio messages across efficiently rather than having to figure out how to use the radio. Keep up the good work to everyone involved. I'm also curious if you are working on any new stuff right now, that'd be interesting to hear. :)

    Niko's Uniforms Mega Packs

Looks superb, looking forward to the Russian gear. :)
  25. Will some of the scaling issues be fixed in the future? The SCAR rifles are too big, and the MP5s are tiny to name a few examples.
