I can not buy a 6.5 mm silencer for 2000 credits
Seddrik replied to Bazbey's topic in ARGO - TROUBLESHOOTING
I do not think they intended to have the 2000 AC scope there. It seems to be a glitch. -
She?? Ummm... weight jokes and ladies.... woops! I must confess though... I will still make cookie jokes even if you are a lady!!! (Runs and hides!)
-
Well, I'll have you know that Cookie is 25 and a half. But that is because he ate too many cookies.

Sleeves? What meaneth these sleeves? If it moves... shooot it. Or so seems to be the rule. (cough)

I literally just posted my own thread asking about this... I played just last night too. It is definitely NOT higher accuracy. I would say lower. I had several instances where I knew something was really off. Extremely close range, stationary target, around 3 seconds of fire on my target before they even turned my way... and they were not hit once. No blood splatter. Nothing. Teammates who were spectating me were just as astonished. My targets were not hackers either. Nothing to indicate that. Long range was fairly scattered, but that is to be expected. Mid range was pretty reliable. Close range... accuracy was very spotty. Seems like the last place you want to be is close to the muzzle... yet that seems the best place to be right now for the Mk 200.
-
Meh. The death cam is the death of stealth and tactics. Gotta love gimmicks... (not). Glitchers can still be called out by teammates who screenshot them.
-
Been using the MK 200. Noticed a pattern. Long range, even deployed / braced - you can see the scatter. Understandable. But close range... seems off. I have had several instances of stationary targets (laying down for example) at 2-3 feet range where I had a literal 3 seconds of full auto before someone even turned towards me. They... seemed unaffected. Not hit. No blood. Nothing. They were not hacking. Just normal players. Is there an issue with accuracy close range with this MG? You would think that close range with a MG would be not so.... miss miss miss. I do not get the same close range issue with the other MGs I have used. Mid range seems the best for accuracy. I can hit things pretty quickly and consistently.

I like MG. But just yesterday, I point blank opened up on a guy laying down 2 feet in front of me. Count to 3. That many shots. What happened? He one shot me with a sniper and survived. Everyone one my team vocalized at how ridiculous this occasion was. He SHOULD have been swiss cheese long before he fired a single shot. He didn't even die... or have blood on his sleeves. MG have more ammo, and can be great. But they can also be a joke - accuracy wise. You have to be aware of your tool's capabilities and limitations. Use them to your advantage. Save your 30 round reloads for when you close in and need to spray. Or just one shot the MG-er while he sprays all around you (evidently that works too). Another issue with some MGs (especially higher level ones) is that the position the gun is on your screen, it covers too much screen, especially when you add a scope. I don't have that problem in RL for some reason... maybe its because I don't run with the gun & scope in front at almost chin level (cough).

Shhhh! Don't talk! I don't need skill when your 100 pound boots drum the ground even when you walk slow.

Blurry Vision Syndrome (Out of Focus Scopes)

Hmmmmm which option? I've fiddled with several and evidently have missed this one. -
Loosing whole Inventory for all players
Seddrik replied to SparxOne's topic in ARGO - TROUBLESHOOTING
Happens a lot. If your load out list is not displaying, try going to spectator then back to the spawn menu BEFORE actually spawning. This seems to reset the load out menu. Dunno about the clothing. -
I can not buy a 6.5 mm silencer for 2000 credits
Seddrik replied to Bazbey's topic in ARGO - TROUBLESHOOTING
Probably a display glitch. Same issue for me. Does not seem like it was intentional to allow the 2000 ones for this gun. Honestly, I wish they had the silencers & scopes in a progression like the guns. I.E. you have to purchase the initial level, then the next (better) etc. It is quite annoying to ONLY be able to use silencers on lvl IV guns (for example) when you get bored and want to run with something different. -
Batlleye keeps kicking me from the server
Seddrik replied to TheStan's topic in ARGO - TROUBLESHOOTING
USUALLY when this happens to me, I have logged into the game and entered the lobby THEN entered the game BEFORE battle has fully processed my log in. Try sitting in the lobby long enough for your ping to show up. Mine displays as 0 for a short time, then displays my normal number. Once the number shows I have a much less frequent rate of being kicked. I still get randomly kicked too, but the above lessens the number of times this happens. -
People will always accuse others of cheating who beat them... every game, regardless of level. At my current level, I am constantly swarmed by low level players who jump on my team merely because of my level, assuming I can carry them all and who complain vociferously if you tire of carrying them and playing with people who are less likely to shoot you as an enemy. If the level ones would evenly distribute among the teams, it would not be so burdensome. Obscuring the numbers would help.
-
Please end the death cam. Countless times this aids ghosting (dead people telling living people where the enemy is). This negates skill, tactics, knowledge of terrain, etc.

Played a set with Lucckas on Houdan, which ended just before 4:50pm US Central. He was in a 2 story and as I came up the steps he glitched THROUGH the wall to shoot me. He did it again against another player. Then when he was the last in a round and had to cap the point to win... 3 of my teammates were shooting at him and he suddenly had HUGE lag spike, repeatedly. He would freeze momentarily then zipped off to another spot and shoot.
-
Every round it boils down to who has the best sonar. Not the best skill. I have some teammates who literally will not let you speak because they are listening/tracking by sound alone. They don't need enemy spots or verbal reports. They want you to literally say nothing. Sonar is so perfect in this game that we don't need teamwork. Just good headphones. Not skill. Just good headphones. Sonar dominates this game.

SUGGESTION - 1st Skill Set Free, Pay For More
Seddrik replied to Seddrik's topic in ARGO - QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
This is not pay to win. And it remains free in this format. You have to leave the match to change load outs as is. This lets everyone play. But offers variety, which the current load out system prohibits. -
Ok. Been thinking about the current load out system. Here is an option that would allow free to play, yet encourage investment in the game with great benefits. The current load out system lets you have 5 load out sets based off one skill point application /arrangement. This is... insufficient & very restrictive and BORING (cough) in many ways. Why not allow additional skill point layouts at a cost? Say, up to 3? That way if I want to run a sniper layout I can. If I get bored of that today, and want to run MG... I can. Or if I want to play raid I can use something other than a sniper skill lay out. Etc. That way we are not forced (by only one skill point layout) to run only the mark 18 or dmr... since it is the most optimal all round weapon selection for everything. Free to play: 1st Skill Set Free. Pay: 2nd Skill Set Layout becomes available. Pay again: 3rd Skill Set Layouts becomes available. I think you would easily make money form this. I have no doubt people would LOVE additional skill sets (which allows different load outs).

I know the answer! The opposing teams always look like an angry cookie monster! (cough) BTW I've looked around and not seen the button that points to support package purchases. Is that in game only? (I am at work.)
-
Easy servers definitely do not stop team kills. You do not always have time to eyeball the minimap or when fired upon you react... to find it was a friendly... etc. Uniforms are just too similar.
-
Eh. I have seen people wait in lobby until the other team fills some and then they stack the already more populous/leveled team. The simplest solution is generally the best. Just obscure levels.
-
Probably you time of day is affecting your evaluation. I have a day off during the week and on the week end. Week days show times when premium servers can be populated while public isn't. I understand that is generally a less polulated time but it does limit player availability. I've purchased Flash point to Arma 3 (and spent a lot on other games). Argo is not yet at a point I am willing to invest in for various reasons (incredibly accurate sonar location - cough).
-
Due to several factors this is a terrible settup. The arma engine allows some people to spawn and run before others. I spawned at Fox. The split second my timer ran out, before I even moved. I was shot from Charlie. I know about the overlook sniper from the rocks... but spawn killing line of sight? really... is sad.
-
Clash map that has the mountain north of the middle points. One of the rocks you can glitch inside of if you walk on top of it. Just below the peak.
