Yeah, I also own lot of period stuff USMC, MFR due to airsoft and collecting You can order the Hill 488 from the books website and the author will sign it also ;). Adding to Six Silent Men. I highly recommens Force Recon Diary 1969 and 1970. They are written by Navy Corpsman who became first ever Navy corpsman to be teamleader. To stay in topic. Any people wanna join in and patrol together? -

Ground clutter vs. Object placed clutter

I tried making a Finnish terrain Im making more dense like it is in real, but the performance did get worse, but for an example you have specific place you wanna have more clutter, could work performance wise. Try it, you will notice it start dragging. -

They use Lindnerhof Taktik Gen III/IV plate carriers, altough now it seems that they are using more and more of Crye stuff, probably private purchases and those few AF helmets we have seen are there but, seems that they are now using more Ops-Core helmets. -
Hi all, Im working on some assets, they do work fine in O2 but I cant manage to get them into game, tried different options on the config, but now I need guidance? If I delete class cfgAddons, I can run it through pboproject, but cant find the model itself in the A3. Here is the error Im getting "Line 17 No Token" Here's my Config.cpp http://pastebin.com/7ENzCkZw

I ran the process again after new HDD, but I keep getting the conversion option again, whenever I launch it starts the conversion again and again.

Mmm. Maybe this would be more to the Editing section, but have to ask that would you care to define the proxy details :D if you guys want to share, PM me or maybe it can help some other guys too if you write it down here? Do you just create Proxy and extract it with the clutter .p3d file, but what is correct name for the proxy so that O2 recognizes it, like "cargo", "driver" etc.- 954 replies

Thank you both of you, also forgot myself to add semicolons to the end hence the error. It created the pbo, still cant find the object on the editor tough, shouldn't it create custom class for the object menu?

Really looking forward to this, indeed Unsung was the best mod for A2 along with the Jungle Fever Redux and FDF on OFP. Being huge fan of 60s and era around that conflict I cannot wait for this. Too bad I suck with O2 tools, altough have atleast tried some clothing modelling. -
Blender holds itself a great baking process.. So what you are looking for is the bake option wich can be found on the "Render" panel... Same where you have those "Materials" etc. What it means that you have the high poly version of the project, then you have retopologied it or whatever, to the very low poly version. When you "bake" HP normals to the LP, most of the details from HP are like it says baked on the LP without cost of faces etc. Ill recommend you to watch this for an example.

Hello, alright Ive read the tutorials all over again. Ive managed to get my terrain ingame, objects etc work. But there is a huge problem http://i.imgur.com/tx3wdkw.png I have no idea what is causing this. Ive been struggling with these for a month now, beer cases haven been throwen to the floor and taxi drivers have been paid good by driving me to city to the nearest bar because of this :D. Im starting to feel to delete everything or just create terrain without any clutter :D. Ive tried 2 different configs. One by M1lkm8n here and also my own. Still it gives me the same error. Is there a way in L3DT to make the lower brush even smaller than it gives the option for, so one could try to create rivers ^^?

Thanks Arska from the Arma Finland community for the help, he noticed that on my config cfgSurfaces (On red) was defined as underclass of CFGWorld now that it is outside the "World" clutter appeared on game :). So if anybody have this same problem be sure to check that out. Thank you all for the help!

Seems that packing config did make Since then Ive fixed it so it doesnt use #include again inside the brackets. Did try to make second terrain as a test if the HF is disabling the clutter somehow.. No luck.

Well, tried without any other mods and no luck. Since my terrain uses objects from AiA TP, this .rpt is the latest. http://pastebin.com/JJvPNNMt Thanks for the help.

Well its texture from Chernarus originally I think, many terrain makers have used that but Ive renamed it differently and no other terrain uses the same name atleast on A3. Ground texture appear yes, just not with clutter. Tried different probablity setted 0.4 and tried different clutter. Post-Packing config http://pastebin.com/qGrMRLdV Thanks for the help!
