  1. Thats cool. However i think the movement should be animation not wind driven. The cpu overhead on that wouldn't be worth the price imo. Not to mention sync. EDIT: Sorry my post sounded kinda negative. Couldn't edit in mobile. Yes very cool that they move, via wind or not. Also I can foresee me trying to fly though the blades in my little bird and failing miserably.

    I know its not the same engine. But in DCS A-10 I can run my tgp on one ddi and the maverick in the other and still manage to get 50fps. Not sure how they do that but it is possible. Having 3d scopes would be a nice addition to arma.

    Thanks for your hard work!!! Also. Does anyone else think that BI should hire him? I mean really. If he could do this as a mod then imagine what he could do if he had direct imput on the sound engine itself!

    Ok benny. I will try to do more testing with it. But what from what i have done before it will not load the sqf. I have even tried copy and pasting the ace gear over the other gear loadouts and it just loads a different sqf instead. I will try again tonight and see if the server rpt says anything EDIT: Ok so I tried again tonight. This is what I did. 1. Changed modACE = false to true in initJIPcompatible.sqf 2. Copied and pasted the ace core and gear sqf's into the class core and gear core in the initCommon.sqf 3. added Ace modules into the mission 4. Exported to MPmission By the way I am running this as a dedicated server mission, not sure if that changes anything. The gear from the ace sqf does not load and is not buyable. Keep in mind, I have no idea what I am doing.

    So when I try to run ace in 2.073 the gear and units don't change. however in the server RPT I get this error. Squads_SetFactionGroups.sqf: Unit [ACE_Stryker_ICV_M2_SLAT] is not defined in the Core files." Like a whole bunch of those. Also the gear sqf will not load.

    I looked at the servers RPT log. It seems it is can't find the ace units in another sqf. When i get home I will look at it again and post in the Warfare BE thread

    I have been trying for the past few weeks and I can't get it to work. If I ever do I'll let you know how to do it. However I have spent many hours trying to no avail, so I think I may wait until someone who knows what they are doing gives it a crack.

    @Benny I tried using the acemod=true function 2.073. It didnt load the sqf. I also tried copy and pasting it over the standard ones and it would just select a different loadout. Any help please?

    Well I think spreading the two in between the gpu and cpu would help a lot. Another great thing about GPU's is that they are so powerfull when it comes to parallel processing. Maybe could help with more complex ai or more ai in general. Or both. At the same time I have no idea what I am talking about. That and you can make server core based pc's nowadays that have gpu slots. Some EVGA bpard does that. I think if they could find a way to use the cuda cores with ai our gameplay would be massively changed.

    Ok bye! I voted for after march. As much as I would love to be wrong, it certainly feels that way. News went from devs actively on the forum and news every other week then a trickle then literally nothing. I feel that there is something internal going on right now that they are trying to sort out. It will be here when it gets here... But I can't f-ing wait!

    Not sure if I posted this cause I keep meaning to. But it would be cool if you could put Ai on GPU much like Physx. Have say 10 Ai per CUDA core. So that would be 15,000 ai on the 680.

    Co op singleplayer ?

    To be honest i wouldnt mind playing a single player campaign with two people. No need to add anything special for two players. Just a slot. Much lile the way halo does it. When playing coop nothing changes. I jist want to play and experience the story with a friend.

    (2.073) How do you make it so you can use the ace gear sqf? hell any of the ace sqfs? I added some ace modules and stuff. Just can't get it to do it. Help please?

    Thanks! I will try to get ace working in the newer version. The main reason is that the spawning on skalisky might be fixed on chernarus. Want to give that a try.
