[Friend stuck on 'Wait for Host']

Arma is somewhat hard for network equipment. Please ask him about the details on 3)

Which details do you need exactly? His Network adapter is a D-link DWA-525 Wireless N 150 desktop. We actually live together, so we're on the same connection, which is fast enough as i can play just fine.

Also, i should probably mention that after he bought the game, i transferred my Arma 2 and OA game files to his computer to save on downloads. When it didn't work, he uninstalled it and re-downloaded it, but it still didn't work.

1) Does he have problems on every server?

2) He should try to join one that has no battleye (there is a filter option)

3) Whats his network connection and equipment?

1) Every server we have tried, he cannot connect to.

2) Still the same...

3) His connection is pretty standard, he isn't using a firewall either. We have played other games together and it usually works.

Hi, my friend recently bought Combined Ops from Steam so we could play DayZ together.

When joining a multiplayer game, any game, it sticks on 'Wait for Host' forever... There is really no indication of what it could be. We tried reinstalling the game and BattlEye but to no avail... We have also tried deleting DayZ files and trying normal servers, but still it doesn't work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and i know it's very vague.
