    I tried what you said but it did not work. What I did was this: -profiles="Steam/steamapps/common/Arma\ 3\ Server/serverprofile/" -name="server" I it did not create a Arma3Profile file so I tried making one with the right configuration hoping it would use it something like this: -profiles="Steam/steamapps/common/Arma\ 3\ Server/serverprofile/" -name="server.Arma3Profile" I also tried: -profiles="home/(username)/Steam/steamapps/common/Arma\ 3\ Server/serverprofile/" -name="server.Arma3Profile" I use this for the configuration: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/server.armaprofile Normally doing this isn't a problem in Windows it works just fine but in Linux it is weird, well let's not blame the software I am probably the one that does it wrong...

    Thanks for your quick reply but the reason why I use -name over -profiles is: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/server.armaprofile LinuxThe name depends upon the -name parameter when starting the arma server. Having started the server with "./server -name=server" (-profiles seems to be useless on Linux) you'll find it as a subfolder of your arma-server directory, for example "/usr/home/arma-server/server/server.armaprofile". If you're not using the "-name" parameter, the default name "player" will be used and you'll find the ArmA profile in player/player.armaprofile.
  6. Hello I am trying to make a minimap on my missions UI. I saw a few posts but they are out-dated. Is there a way to make a dialog that has the information of the gps??? I am new to this hopefully someone can help me out.

    Okey I got this so far I got three separate files 1 where the dialog is at, 1 where the map layout is at and 1 where (it doesn't work) it should find the player location. The map is being displayed just fine and when you spawn it shows your first position but it doesn't update it.     I can do createdialog "rscminimap"; but you can't move then because you have a dialog open. When I try to do this with cutRsc ["RscMiniMap","PLAIN"]; it gives me an error that RscMiniMap doesn't exist...

Hey there, Is it maybe possible to make a trigger run audio on the timer of the server and not the client, cause I got a mosque pray trigger which makes mosques play those praying sounds every 1 hour, but the problem is that its every 1 hour on the client not the server. this is what I got: speaker say3D "nam"; Thanks, Soundblaster

  17. Combat Realism Patrol Operation is a dynamic, random mission series. The great features such as "Enemy force scale on connected players" keep the game challenging. We tried to make people force to keep alert and focused, if not they could get punished by a possible airstrike from a SU-25 and a L-39 or even get struck by a side road IED. There is a large scale of arsenal in the HQ but for some you need to retrieve points to rank up. There all all kinds of missions, retrieve a lost radio tower, destroy a enemy SCUD or maybe even capture a town, we tried to keep as many kinds of mission types in the server. Decision is a important factor in this game, do you prefer to bomb a city where there is possible innocent civilians or do you prefer to sneak up to the enemy and kill them one by one, it's all possible! We make use of a slightly modified version of the "ASR AI Addons" to make the enemy troops act more humanly and also more as a team. We make use of the "F2F Air Loadout Selector System" that means that people got the option to select what they want to equip in their air vehicles. We make use of the "BTK Cargo Drop" to make transporting more realistic for example the C-130 Hercules can carry heavy vehicles and the Chinook more lighter ones. There are side road IED and they can be small like a trashbag (the effect will be small too) or they can be as big as a wrecked BMP, they are on the side of the roads always and sometimes you got possible infantry near it to ambush you(these are randomly generated). Enemy radar towers, these give the enemy just like with humans more information about the enemy location they usually get randomly generated on top of hills, they can call in air support for a possible airstrike, the radio tower is destructible and you will also get a reward for it. (these are randomly generated). Living environment, we tried to make ArmA more alive by adding randomly generated civilian vehicles which are usable, there are also civilians walking around living in hamlets, towns and even cities, there aren't a lot of them just a few, one day in ArmA equals 6 hours in real life, we did this because we wanted players to have more kinds of environmental experience in a way that they play in night and as well as day and last but not least we've added mosques praying 5 times a day, this is a really new feature we just added it is 3D sound so how further away you are how more delayed the audio is and also more quiet and you can hear them in most cities and towns(an example video: .There is also Acre on the server because we tried to keep the realism in VOIP, we got a Teamspeak server for this. @ACE @ACEX @ACEX_SM @ACRE @CBA @CBA_OA @JayArma2Lib You can download all these mods trough Six updater: http://www.six-updater.net/p/download.html also here is a small tutorial for the ones who don't know how to do it: We would like to thank EightySix for making Patrol Operation, sxp2high BTK for making Cargo Drop, SkyNet for making F2F Air Loadout Selector System and Robalo_AS for making ASR AI Addons allowing us to modify it and we would like to give them all the credits.   18. Ye, I tried to recheck it and it doesn't work on my multiplayer dedicated server however it does work on a clientside server creation any idea's? Good news it works now.

Hey guys, I have a huge problem I am trying to make a trigger that makes it possible to add the azan just like in this video: 1:40 to play, but I have one problem the song and everything runs perfectly but I want to make it so it reply's the azan every let's say 60min. I want it to be working without even having people on it(got AI Opfor though).
