  1. I have not the time to argue with you, but your whole opinion is wrong. like the vehicles are real and there are wepoans that work under water etc.. it has been discusseed too often. Just that: you are 95% wrong with your assumptions. And no thats not a opinion thats just how it is.. Im only to lazy to present it.

  3. Hi, I didnt know where to post this: I like to use Hold Secondary Mouse button for temporary optics. Its good when playing Infantry - the problem is in vehicles as gunner or commander, it locks at maximum Zoom - I cant zoom out anymore. -- second: is there a way to change the temporary optics mode? http://youtu.be/iWHpwXbMN3w I want to have always optics enabled when I hold the right mouse button.

    try autodetect. it makes FSAA and bloom - which both helps making the scenes smoother - less pixel-flickering

    i guess you need a better vga with more vram. i also have the 560ti and it only has 1 gb how should this work? you cant save more than 1 gb in 1gb vram?!

    LJ can you also tweak the volume inside vehicles (its a bit too quiet for my tastes) and maybe the fade out when looking on the map - could be less drastically too...

    yeah. the whole controlling of vehicles gas needs a rework.. why not let us control it via the mouse wheel.. there are already tickets out there.

    i dont understand why sound samples should be stereo? its a mono source the placement in the world should rendered to our ears independeendly and so be "stereo" .. but stereo soundfiles to start with is wrong by design.

    it makes sense as a point to start and to see what other people do.. why not.. I also got inspired by dyslecxi and another guy.. just do what you want OP.. i linked my profile. its good. one thing: map center and deactivate on mouse keys ! important sometimes to center if your cap moves..

    hmm could you show a frequency plot of that soundfile used for the heli rotors / engine? it sounds kind of 22khz - ish but I like the "live" that it adds!

    I guess the IDea with increased Textures doesnt just work as expected. Too much VRAM is needed. so the original Idea with a logical map was better though. on the other hand if the increased detail landscape could be streamed and blended in in a 400 m radius - but for this I dont if the engine just works this way.

    maybe nordkindchen and the devs put themselves together and work out the ideas and then the devs can repaint the island for a DLC or an later Addon? Maybe its too much work for one person alone.

    thx Nordkindchen for your efforts. You have great experience in doing these kind of grpahical stuff! great knowledge and know-how-to-do this stuff! much respect! to test the 4x size fps impact side of things.. couldn't we just use a bigger file (it doesnt need to have the nice grafy - just the size - and test the performance hit?)
