  1. What OS are you using?

Even if you clear your cookies there will be "Temporary Files" that still carry over. Go to - C:\Users\computername\AppData\Local\Temp and delete what files you can, if you get a message saying it can't be done then don't worry.

There are programs out there that will wipes cookies plus these files such as CCleaner which is free (donate if you choose to) That should fix your problem.

    http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download

    This will clean your

    Cookies

    Temporary Internet files

    History

    Recently types URL's

    Index.dat files

    Last download location

    It also cleans

    Recent Documents

    Empty Recycle Bin

    Temporary Files

    Memory Dumps

    Checkdisk File Fragments

    Log files

Aaaand a few more things, mind you these are all tic boxes so if there is something you do NOT want cleared, it can be adjusted.

Yes, I do use CCleaner. Turns out I had to restart my computer and delete cookies a second time...

  2. Well, I decided to enter arma3.com to download a picture which I accidentally deleted and to check if there's anything new. Upon entering I got the typical age verification. I was about to enter my age. I usually just go for 01-01-1993, although my real birthdate is 18-06-1993 (to save time). Well, when pressing the year selection button things didn't go well. I accidentaly pressed "Verify", so now it seems like arma3.com think that I'm 11 months old . So the question is: What on earth can I do now?

For everybody watching this thread 0.52 will be coming out this week. The following will list the changes and fixes.

    Code:

You now start out will a Glock 17 like in the first release

    Items now spawn faster

less chance of cars being locked

    Removed JSRS requirement

    Intro text now is faster

Removed the conversations you could have with your partner

    More random camps

I am thinking about adding theDog's ARP mod to allow the use of food and water.

    Great, looking forward to 0.52.

  4. GREAT mission! Been playing it for a couple of hours already. It's got a few issues though.

The zombies can destroy a vehicle in about 10 seconds. If it is possible for you to decrease the amount of damage done to vehicles it would be much appreciated.

Another issue is the spawns. Most of the time you will spawn at a chopper with no loot near it (I'll get onto this later). But when you spawn at the chopper near Pusta there will be a few dead soliders with LOADS of uber-loot. This kind of ruins that spawn. Think of it as spawning with an M4A1 CCO SD in the DayZ mod.

My third issue is the spawns without loot. Spawning with little to no loot is no problem for me, but when your fellow survivor (with the M1014) doesn't care about zombies beating you or him to death, it becomes a problem. My suggestion would be to spawn with a Makarov PM and about 2 magazines for it, while the other survivor spawns without weapons.

And then we have the loot spawns. They generally work great but theres a couple of improvements to be made (if you are good enough with scripting. I'm a total noob at scripting myself :S). 1. Fixing the issue of two loot piles spawning in the same place. You will usually have to pick up all the items of one loot-pile before being able to loot the second one. 2. More variation in loot. I feel like the same items are there every time (I usually see nothing but Lee-Enfield/Mag, M1911/Mag, G17/Mag, Makarov PM/Mag and CZ550/Mag. But I think this is probably because these are all "civillian" items in the game(?). 3. Weapons should often be accompanied with at least 1 mag for it. Often I find for example a Lee-Enfield along with a Makarov mag. This makes little sense to me. If you are somehow able to make weapons often spawn with the correct ammo for it, that would be awesome.

Food/Water. If this is a survival mission, it would be 10x better if you had to search for food and water. I know there aren't any food or water items in Arma so I'll leave this to the ones who know wether this is possible or not.

Apart from that, EXCELLENT mission! I know I have plenty of fun left in this mission. Looking forward to some updates in the future!

  5. Hey everyone, I'm quite new to ArmA as I started playing it last week. Then I started playing with the mission editor and so it goes on. But at one point I made a mission that didn't really work well, and I had alredy exported it to "Scenarios". I found no delete button so I exited the game and had a look in the "Program files" folder and the documents folder. I deleted all files I saw referring to the mission I just made, but when I got back in the game it was still there, but now unplayable (saying "No player was selected!"). I did a full uninstall and even deleted the setup files I downloaded from arma2.com (ArmA 2 FREE, yeah, I'm a freebie), just to be sure I didn't leave anything there. After the reinstall and update 1.11 had been applied I could still see my missions there, AND my old profiles, but the missions didn't work and the profiles were all on default settings!

It may be an answer somewhere in the forums, but I haven't got the time to search for it...

Do anyone have any solution for this problem, apart from throwing the HDD out the window and fitting a new one?

Apart from that, after playing just a few days, I have decided to buy every ArmA game that is released from this day, they're brilliant! :p

    Ok, it's fixed!!! :yay:

To anyone who have the same problem, you have to just delete the mission files in the folders, and then run ArmA as an ADMIN!
