  1. As has been previously mentioned, I'm sorry to say but you aren't able to use 3rd party mods in your mission. Yes MP gamemodes will be tested by multiple people on a dedicated server any entries with special requirements should get in touch ASAP.
  2. Good news everybody, it's that time again for me to organise this week's live stream. This week is going to be focussed around our releases to the Development Branch of Helicopter sling loading and Firing from vehicles. It will begin at 1pm Central European Time on Friday. So we are going to be having a little fun competition. This competition will be split into three rounds. The first round will be made up of eight teams, where each team will be assigned a hostile team they will compete against to proceed to the second round. The Second round will then be four teams, then the final will be just two teams. Each round will give the teams different methods of eliminating each other however the objective will always be to have the last man alive, deaths due to bugs, disconnection and everything else counts. Teams will be made up of up to four people, the matches will start at around 1pm CET on Friday 26th. We will live stream each game on our server so we can't give absolute times to teams but I'll publish a rough guide for times late on Thursday or first thing on Friday. How will the matches work? In each game, each team will have a developer playing with them, they can take any role you want them to you just need to tell us when you get into game. If you lose a game you are out, winners will proceed to the next round. What will happen in the matches? In the first round each team will have a Mohawk and an assault boat (Small rubber dinghy), all but one of team will get into the boat which will then be sling loaded. They must then eliminate all of the enemies. Round two will require both teams to mount separate MH-9s and shoot down the other team. Round three will be explained on the stream to the finalists and the audience. So if you have a team of four that can definitely attend, please post your names below and I'll sort you out with a spot, if your an individual and would like to take part in it, then put your name down and I'll do my best to arrange you into a team. There is a limit of 8 teams, I'll also have two back up teams should anyone not turn up. THIS WILL BE RAN ON THE DEVELOPMENT BRANCH

  4. So for tomorrow's live stream we are going to be hosting/playing an Invade and Annex mission made by the fab Ahoy World team. This game will be open to the public on a first come first serve basis. For those that don't know Invade and Annex is focussed around a team working together to capture towns and complete side objectives. As always please see the below rules if your going to play; In-game rules; Don't be a prat, Be a team player.   5. So as some of you who watched last weeks twitch live stream will know, we are hosting a Co-Op Zeus mission tomorrow. It will start at 12:30 Central European Time and there will be 10 slots open to the public, in the first and second squad. These will be divided up on a first come first serve basis in this thread. If you want a slot post below and I'll be in touch. In-game rules; Listen and follow your squad leader, Don't be a prat, Be a team player, Turn up promptly. People that don't follow these rules will be removed from the game and then that slot will be open for viewers that would like to join. Now onto the fun bit, the mission briefing for tomorrow; Situation Over the past few weeks, CSAT have pushed NATO forces back across Altis, gaining significant ground. NATO commanders have staged a calculated retreat and are holding a defensive line as is shown on the map. The NATO task force has requested urgent reinforcements to launch a counter attack, that will be capable of taking out the hostile command, and control HQ at the Altis International Airport. The core of the reinforcements will be forces from the State of Bohemia. You are these Bohemian troops. ENEMY Enemy forces are made up of both CSAT and AAF forces. CSAT forces are leading the assault against NATO positions, whereas AAF forces are holding the ground that has been seized. Intelligence reports suggest that the CSAT assault forces are of a Company size (150), AAF forces are of a Battalion size (400-800). We have also been given numerous other possible sites of hostile buildup. These positions will be marked on your map. FRIENDLY Bohemian forces will consist of four 6-man squads. They will be supported by four Ghost Hawks and two MH-6's, two A-10s, 2 AH-6's and one Blackfoot. Current NATO forces on the island are of a Company size with many wounded and combat ineffective. You are on your own, ladies and gentlemen! CIVILIAN Civilians have started to return to their homes, and may be present in towns and villages along the way. However, Intel reports that these is still a sentiment of distrust amongst the local population, as they view NATO as bringing further bloodshed to Altis. Civilians are not be be fired upon, unless they pose a clear and present danger. Mission Bohemian reinforcements to the NATO garrison have been tasked with launching a daring counter attack against a CSAT and AAF advance across Altis. Execution PHASE 1: All squads will deploy to the south east of Kalochori (215,161), then assault Paros (209,169), where it seems the CSAT forward command post is located at. We must seize the command post, destroy the enemy AA and artillery battery located around the town and then hold the town until friendly NATO mechanised forces reinforce the position. PHASE 2: After securing Paros, forces will then be deployed into the Pyrgos Gulf, all squads will then make landfall near grid (155,158), to assault the airfield. It is expected that friendly CAS will be available during this assault. PHASE 3: Once the airfield has been secured, all squads will assume a defensive posture and defend against any hostile attempts to retake the airfield till friendly forces are able to break through to your position. During the mission, intelligence sources may provide targets with a window of opportunity depending on the mission state. Command may divert forces as required.     502 Bad Gateway

    Hi all, there shouldn't be any link between our website downtime and being able to join Arma servers, as our website has nothing to do with the matchmaking process. If you are still having a problem it would indicate either a problem with steam's matchmaking system or a problem on the locally hosted game server. I've just throw up a mission on my server, please could anyone having issues try and join it please; ip - 94.23.247.1140 port - 2302 Name - "Matt's test server" If you continue to have problems could you file a feedback tracker issue please and pm me a link to it and I can have a proper look into it.

    M4 Howitzer or MLRS?

    I also personally prefer the Scorcher, mainly because our artillery base defenders always clear off somewhere, so the arty has to end up defending itself and with that top gun and the main gun, it can be a very formidable weapon.

    Were are the mods you get from Steam Workshop

    G'day, when you launch Arma from steam, it should bring a pop up box that gives you three options. Something like; Play arma 3, Play arma 3 windowed, Open launcher. Select the launcher option, this will open a launcher on the left side select the "Addons" tab. Make sure all of the mods you downloaded have the box filled in next to them then click play and you should be good to go. I hope this helps you. :)

    DayZ Forum downtime

    Hi all, As some of you are aware, both the BI forums and the DayZ forums were taken down late last week in response to someone attempting to gain illicit access to some areas of our websites. As is clear the BI forums are now back online. Hopefully the DayZ forums will be up shortly, so hopefully we will have more news either later today or first thing tomorrow morning (CET Time). I'll post an update here with any changes in the situation.
