News-Update: Pick the Pattern As some of you might know, ST-Alpha is currently working on individualized combat units for our campaign-missions and other internal operations. We are now at the stage where it’s all about the camo. In order to satisfy our needs we will add the A-TACS Desert Camo as well as the new A-TACS FGS for woodland environment. But now we need, or actually want, your help. Use the comment section to tell us which camo we should field with our new units. The picks will be announced with the release date of the units and the two contributors with the most fitting camosheme in mind will be added to the credits and will recive insight upon the status and creation of there camo part. The units will be available in a total of 5 camotypes. So would like to have the community participate and give us their ideas and thoughts on two proper camo types which are not completly overused at this point. Even your self made camo could be choosen. You can find the news and comment section here

I Think B&T will create a special one. For some reason HK is willing to create everything new for the HK G28, even the Handgrip and Buttstock were specially created. The MSG90/ Supressor would extend the weapon by 201.8 mm. As you can see here PSG1 with Supressor and convert that to the G 28 - current length without supressor is 980 mm with a Barrellength of 420 mm. With the MSG90 Supressor you got a sturdy 1.18 m in total. (with the Buttstock all the way in). But i will look into the matter, i think a inner supressor that goes into the Handguard would fit better and look better as well. Besides the G28 will use 7.62 x 51 mm Also got some more intel on Scopes, especially IR and NVG "recommended accessories include Schmidt & Bender telescopic sights (3-20×50 or 1-8×24), red dot sight (Aimpoint Micro T1), a laser light module (Rheinmetall Soldier Electronics LLM01-RAL8000), night sight (Qioptiq Merlin LR), a thermal sight (Insight CNVD-T35), and laser range finders (Jenoptik HLR15 or Vectronix PLRF15)." -

Alright im really getting close to be finished. Only thing missing is the Long Range Scope, NSV 80 and the Scopemount. Buttstock v2 in Detail Current Status -

Yes but i still need to get a confirmation about the Supressor used on the Rifle. It's already Speced for easy mounting by just removing the regular Flashhider. Though it wont be a "normal" Supressor because that would make the rifle almost longer then the M107. About the Railcovers- i think i will do the small grip areas with the Normal Map. Somehow it screws with the UV if i do it differently. -

soooooo thankfully because of all the nice help and amazing images i build the handguard for the long version new as it was needed with the new data. It currently still is missing the Railcovers for the right and top Rail. -

Jub after seeing the pictures again i agree. The front grip needs to be about 15-20% longer. What also impressed people on SHOT was the new Muzzlebreak that people now eagerly try to get from somewhere, though it is marked as military grade equipment and wont be for sale ever. I will also try to implement the Scopes as well as possible from my current skills. Thanks for the help GD -

I'm sorry for missing out on updates over the last week but i was might bussy with my new Job appointment and found little time to actuall do things that are a pleasure for me. But at least i had Friday and today to keep spinnin on the Modeling train and i brought good news with me. Apart from the NSV80 and other Nightenhancement Modules the G28 Model is finished now too. This time it was a bit more todo because of the two different Scopes and the differing handguard. But see for your self if you like the result or not. -

Well basicly they are bluefor yes. A secondary config adding them as Independant as well should fix all problems and concerns. If you want to think BEYOND the box of regular BluFor vs OpFor the config will give you the additional easy way to place them as Independent or OpFor Friendly. Also i talked to my fellow Missionmakers and as soon as this baby comes out - CAMPAIGN ^^ -

No hard feelings Aplion but for the compensation you have to pick a number. I think since the Greek Forces are part of the UN and NATO they should be placed as BluFor. They also use some Armor and Weapons "unique" to BluFor countrys. -

Will the greek units please wear an armpatch saying "funded by Eurpean economy saviour funds" ^^. On a seriouse sidenote - i like the unittextures as well as the Island Layout and attention to detail. This could get rly rly gooood ^^ -

Jeah the NSV 80 is pretty darn big and trust dat bi*** is heavy too. On a side note: I sadly have to say that i need to slow down the process of updates and work on the addon as i recived a new job offer as Art-Director which will consume a lot of time for at least 1 or 2 months. I will still work on the Project but not as fast paced as your used to. -

I reviewed the model and came up with some part which i really really disliked - i just plain deleated them and redid them. Like the Flashhider, Scope and some corners on the Handguard. Oh yeah there is a NSV80 II on it, just for pew pew at night. And yes, the mounting will be redone but i just wanted to put on what i got in progress -

I havn't shown the "finished" G36K RAS because i already gave it to the guy writin the config for it so i rather release a ingame picture of it next. To shorten the wait for progress i made a first Render of the HK G28 System in the Marksman calibration. Note that addons like the Handgrip and LLM001 are still missing and will be added later directly from the G36. -

thanks for the hint on the textures - the current once dont have a dumb attached jet and the light is pretty low. I will surely need to adjust the textures after im able to have a first ingame look on them. The avatar - yes its awesome ^^ - can't beat the "YAY" it has ^^ -
