That and the Blue Angles used up all of the existing JATO bottles in their 2009 show; None have been produced since the 1970's :D -
Report the post (already done).

In due time... assuming plans haven't changed they will be ported eventually but I believe Sabre is currently working on the SOC mod and Ardy is doing his own thing. -
@Pearl Is there a init command to disable the complex startup? I appreciate the work you've done but in my opinion the system doesn't add anything to my personal experience and if I wanted to spend 5 minutes starting up I would start up DCS world, with Arma I prefer the experience your aircraft provides in the air, not the ground :)

I assume there's a readme (15.7 KB/s, yay), if not I assume it's the usual start up which is batteries, inverter, APU, fuel, if it's accurate, in which case you can find plenty of videos, search on youtube 'how the f*** do I fly this thing is 5 minutes or less'

LordJarhead had the policy of providing sounds in exchange for credit in the addon, dunno if he still does but you can ask him. Among others... Just ignore the flaming wing, that was pilot error... -
And the black boots... Or he's a cadet...

very nice, cheers for the release.

Having a collapsed stock would make the rifle look numpty (hand through the mag or the stock away from the shoulder) unless new animations were made. The reason it's flat dark earth (tan) is because that's what the rails used on the Mk18 Mod 1 are like from the manufacturer, the earlier Mod 0 was all black however it also used the older M16A2 style sights and the original KAC RIS handguard. Generally if someone is going to go to the effort of painting it they'll cam it rather than going all black too :P http://i4.minus.com/jBp1LHVmN6FMv.jpg http://i.minus.com/jZMhYqbLUcBvx.jpg Airsoft clones... eh. That's the old sight that was used on the CQBR before flip up sights become more widely used, the first versions were literally the original carrying handle with the front cut off... now they're almost never used but rather replaced with either KAC of Magpul BUIS's In this case, KAC: http://i4.minus.com/ibl4kD28BrOie6.jpg

Oh, I misread (and didn't read the article), my mistake. Interesting that they would reintroduce them. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2011/02/21/m67-90mm-recoilless-rifle-back-in-use/ -

Interesting, must have been just of recent or on small scale. In the video he says he belive it should be brought for every infantry unit so perhaps they borrowed some from SOCOM to test the effectiveness. Edit: Here's an article about it, seems they're buying more of them for use in Afghanistan at this point, not wide scale. -

JATO (Jet Assisted take off), you're looking at a rocket engine used to launch aircraft for short runways. -

Here's an Example mission, when you load in you should see 3 units, your self as a Desert USMC 80's unit wearing a woodland cover. A garrison, kevlar, flak jacket guy with no headgear and a unarmed, unarmored desert guy with a woodland cover. Check each units Init to see how it's setup. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0By3K9gdorAqHMXJMbno0dGtlcEU/edit?usp=sharing -

The scale of current aircraft is quite small compared to IRL, for example with the UH-60 you pretty much bang your head on the door frame whereas IRL it's a bit bigger: http://www.usmilitaryhelicopters.org/helicopterphotos/sikorsky_uh60_blackhawk_0.jpg Same with the chinook and others. -

M40A5 (Soon to be A6 which is going to be a full length stock with a folding butt and the ability to accept a .338 Lapua action) now, they have a new muzzle break which can accept suppressors, forward picatinny rail and accept 5 round detachable magazines. http://www.firearmsworld.net/usa/remington/700/m40/z18w.jpg Not the Army as a whole, they have the M72, AT-4 and Javelin, there's nothing in between. Only US SOCOM uses the MAAWS (Rangers, SF, SEALs, MARSOC, etc). -
