  1. I got the mod working, but I have some questions. Do the Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead items in the expansions checklist in game need to be checked to enable anything, or do they do nothing? Also, this mod enables usage of other Arma 2 maps correct? If I get another Arma 2 map, does it matter if I load it before or after AiA? Are the fixes, such as correct object penetration, map specific or will they apply on maps not included with this pack, such as fallujah?
  2. Ok something is seriously wrong, only Chernarus and Takistan Mountains are loading in ARMA 3. And Chernarus's name isn't loading in the missions lobby. Did I do something wrong? Could this be a result of the download being corrupted? If it helps, I manage my load order from the in game load order manager and I put AiA at the top, although the Arma 3 dlc and zeus always shows up above it, yet somehow Arma 3 itself is at the bottom and i can't move it. The load order is top is to bottom right?
  3. After the patch, I'm getting an error "Addon 'AiA_Buildings2_Config' requires addon 'CABuildings'" and "No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgSurfaceCharacters.SparseWeedsClutter'" Anyone else getting these?
  4. Wait, so I am supposed to overwrite the pack with the patch? Is this correct?
  5. Sorry if I missed something, but is there a specific reason why the patch released on the 24th is a separate download? Is it necessary? I'm mainly asking because AiA TP is already 6GB, and I don't really want to download another 990MB unless absolutely necessary.

    A2 Island Fixes

    So I'm using this mod along with the A3MP-AP and a few maps from Arma 2 (Fallujah, Podagarsk, etc), and I'm not sure what the load order should be for everything to work properly. Is it A3MP, then any ARMA 2 maps, then A3MP-AP, and then this mod? Are there any conflicts between this mod and A3MP-AP?
  7. I can add missions just fine, but if I try to add mods they don't seem to work. I'm using TADST and I have all the mods checkmarked and they should be in the right load order. If I install a modded map for example, and set the launch parameter into the server, the mods don't show up in the server at all. Not even on the mission select screen or anything. If I set the launch parameter on the client, the modded map actually shows up. However, if I try to select a mission designed for that modded map I am sent to a loading screen, but nothing is actually loading. I know nothing is loading because my hard drive has no activity. It isn't the maps or the missions themselves that are not working. I can get them working just fine in single player and listen servers, but not on a dedicated server. This is very frustrating. Tons of people run mods on their servers, yet I can't find the official way to put a mod on a dedicated server. The only relevant thing I found was this, but from what I reading the issues I'm having aren't mentioned and shouldn't be happening. I changed this post to be a little easier to understand.
  8. Well I didn't read it, I discovered it through testing. Mods only show up in my server if I add a launch parameter for them in the client. If I add a launch parameter on the server only the mod doesn't show up.
  9. Using TADST, I've finally gotten to start running a server and play some co op missions with my friends. However there are a couple settings I would like some more information as to what exactly they do. For example what exactly does the maxPlayers attribute control? According to the wiki it controls the "Maximum amount of players. Civilians and watchers, beholder, bystanders and so on also count as player." However, I don't think this is right. When my server was set to 10 players max, I still had more than 10 AI on screen. Does this setting only affect MP missions, and not co op missions? Is it simply outdaded/wrong. My second question is when I set the view distance to 2000 meters in TADST, and in game the object distance is limited to 1600 meters. According to TADST it should render at 1500 meters. Is this normal? Also, how does the Terraingrid setting work? I know the max is 50, but what is the minimum value? Does this number correspond to a setting like the terrain quality setting in game?
  10. Thanks for the clarification. So Maxplayers doesn't affect AI despite what the wiki says? I know it doesn't directly say AI is effected, but by " Civilians and watchers, beholder, bystanders and so on also count as player" I figured that included AI.

    @A3MP - ArmA 3 Map Pack

    I've tried adding this mod to my server, but it isn't showing up when I am selecting a map. I only see Altis, Stratis, and the VR room. Why is this happening? I'm using TADST and I know the mod is checkmarked.
  12. This doesn't work. I'm just stuck on the screen with an image of stratis when I press / and then type in #missions. EDIT: Nevermind. I was kinda dumb. I tried typing that in before logging in as the admin. I logged in as the admin and then typed in #missions, and that worked. Ugh that was too frustrating. I really wish this was made more clear though. A simple sentence on the main page saying that you need to log in as admin and then type #missions to start the server with a blank mission list would be very helpful.
  13. I can't get the server to work when I use TADST v2.6. If I just start the Arma3 server exe I can join the server fine. If I try to join my server created using TADST the server is stuck on the creating mission state so no one can join. Why is this happening? I reset all server settings in TADST to default and that still doesn't work.
