I do not know for the G25 pedals. You are using steam or retail? May be you need to patch in 1.04 before patching in 1.05? And yes. Flying in expert in really something else... :cool: Also I'm scared your joystick isn't suffisant to really enjoy the expert mode. But I'm not sure as I never tried it. How many value per axe it does it have?

I don't know if patches change something on the carrer. But I never missed any $ in mine (Done on the 1.0 version ;) ). I bought all the upgrade as soon as I can. No problem. And if you have a problem you can always play "side mission" to earn more money".

Welcome. This is normal. It's due to the fact in expert mode the "auto trim" setting is turned off. Sorry it's hard for me to explain it.. Not prO. Here is some things I understood with times.. For US helicopters. - In a hover, you'll need LEFT pedal. = anti torque - If you pull the collective to climb you'll need MORE anti torque so MORE LEFT pedal - If you hardly push the collective you may need some right pedal. - While gaining speed you'll need less and less left pedal as the main rotor will gain in efficiancy. So less torque. So less left pedal and less collective. - And when you decelerate you'll have to push the left pedal in order to keep the same heading and pull the collective cause the rotor need more power to keep the helo in the air. You can also use Trim, but I can't help you on this as I never used them. I use logitech MOMO for rudder and my pedals are combineds. It work great. 1 Axe, + and -

But I'm NOT using the beta I don't know why I have two expert mode, it's a known bug. But it work and I can edit it to get the 3rd person view and allow the HUD when I want it so it's fine. Is it the same if you unplug your joystick and try to "fly" with Keyboard and mouse? Have you tried? ... Check the stick, the pedals.. precise mouvement.. I'm playing in expert mode, nothing auto. Check at the end of this video. And this one for hind hover. (In expert mode...) You just have something wrong in your X65 setup or somewhere else.. But it is absolutely possible to play TOH in Expert mode with a joystick.. It's done for that. The game work perfectly for me.

Welcome on BIS Forum. I don't understand what problem you can meet while setting up your joystick.. :confused: Here is the post in which I asked a solution to fix the response delay. Make SURE all your joystick, rudder .. Are well calibrated on Windows. Then in game assign them to the correspondant "analog command". That's all what you should do. I didn't change my sensitivity and dead zone in the game. Nope. All my curve are by default except Throttle who have 0%. My question is. How to make the joystick less sensitive while affecting the mouse? :butbut: You should un'Assign the mouse from your flying command. You have to manualy assign or "disassign" x) the track IR axe on the command option.

Hmm yes. You should reinstall the Track IR software and do a manual game update. Top right corner on the soft. Then you must activate it in the game controller panel of the game. (You CAN save your TIR profile)

Welcome Do not remove the dead Zone except if you have a verry precise joystick. A lot of stick don't came back to 0 at Center. Even after calibration.. Check if everything is right on the game controller panel. Then In game. Also try an other mission.

It's a TS3 setting you have to modify

Was it after a revive? A heal? Did you checked on TS if you were'nt local muted or something like that? Some buddy had to drop the radio and take it back to make it work again.. Strange.

I just tried but it crash at game start. The .XML i edited is here ; C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\take on helicopters\AddOns\air_us_h\hsim\air_us_h\helicopters_light Then to repack I done a right click on the Air_us_h folder, and create pbo. Replace the new by the old etc... But it don't seems to work :confused:

Then I really don't know where can be the problem.. You can adjust the difficulty in Option/game option/difficulty. It will be verry hard for you to fly without autotrim with a bugged collective :(

Yes it's normal. At least in expert it's normal. Then IRL I don't know I never fly a helicopter yet.. You should really learn to play in expert mode. This way you'll discover the normal helicopter behavior and learn to deal with them. I'm in game right now and I see there is two way to assign the collective. Be SURE to assign you axes on the "analog one".
