    Spektrum DX8

I already own the DX8 (mainly fly a T-Rex 550). I suppose there wouldn't be a good way to link game commands to the various switches. I've never seen a game controller with the quality level of pots and gimbals used in RC radios, but I've never had one of the really expensive setups (and can't really see getting one). Do you know of a good, inexpensive gaming setup? I see Thrustmaster has a $34 HOTAS but considering the others are several hundred dollars the low price tag on the T-Flight HOTAS X seems kind of out of place. I haven't used a non-RC sim in a really long time - any advice on what's out there nowadays would be appreciated. I can't imagine flying a heli with a joypad - the sticks just don't have the precision.
  2. I just saw this on the Steam storefront and am very intrigued. Does anyone know if there would be any way to use an RC transmitter like the DX8? I use in Phoenix sim but that has it's own TX to USB interface and Windows does not list the TX in game controllers when it's hooked up. If not what would be a good controller? The only thing I have that seems like it would work at all other than the DX8 is an old Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
