could be they had mods loaded and you have sig checks enabled? or you are running mission that requires mods and they don't have them? -

For the SSD I thought he was hosting an MP game (server and client) not running a dedi.. my bad. -
I think it should be OK then if your buildings are under the main house class - ALiVE has a CQB module that spawns bad guys in house positiions. Can't really test it ATM as ALiVE team has to generate a data file for each map - perhaps once released!! Thanks for your reply.

^ just to add to krem's comment it seems to be on maps that are A2 conversions or have A2 object in them perhaps? ie: this appears on Koplic, Utes, Chernarus, but not Takistan or Daiyou Island -

This is caused by CBA but no one seems to know why (appears on Koplic island, other converted A2 islands). Oh God now I'm screwed!!! :p Thanks to torrent mirrors much appreciated. Also I think someone else mentioned it but putting this mod on PWS / Six-Updater network would be a great idea if only because of the delta updating (when you release an update users just download the changes since the last update instead of the entire mod)

Other than those are A2 islands I have no idea :confused: Some posts from the Koplic thread: hmmm does Koplic use A2 objects? and Daioyu perhaps does not?

This should probably go in the ALiVE thread no? I'm not a developer, but: 1 - no AI sniper or tank will ever fire on you from 1.6km believe you me :) I don't think virtual and real units can interact in any way although I'm not 100 sure% 2 - no -

A few reasons: The problem is most mods are not client-side only - meaning all players and the server must be running the mod in order for it to work properly. This is true for mods like weapons, maps, vehicles.. anything that adds actual content to the game. This combined with the lack of any sane manager for mods makes it very difficult. For those mods that are client-side (JSRS, Blastcore, weapon resting, etc) the server admin must add key files in order for the mod to be allowed. Unfortunately this is left up to each individual server admin and as you can guess most servers don't allow them. This is also due to the fact that allowing mods can be a security risk and so some servers just don't bother. This is a long standing 'issue' with Arma and short of an in-game mod manager that supports auto download/install/join I don't see that changing :(

UPSMON will move guys into buildings (fortify) as well as random checks IIRC. Check out Zorilya's Garrison Script as well.

^ awesome news can't wait to take her for a spin!! Don't worry about lack of items in buildings etc... better to make the map perform well to begin with IMO The enterable buildings do they have AI paths so bots can use them?

Finding out now... if it's the same or similar as MSO for Arma 2 there needs to be a proper centre and defined locations (ie: military, civilian, infrastructure points (fuel stations, power stations, etc). I'll try and give you some more (useful) info :) Will get some more info for you
