  1. for that, ive heard, nvidias are fine in SLI, compared to AMD. But i think with single ATI 7970, you should be more then happy. :)
  2. in my experience, it depends on video card. For example with my previous asus directCuii ati 6970, i had trouble runing game with default vram. I had 10fps no matter where. But with very high vram, it was fine. Then it got damaged and i got XFX ati 6970 instead. Now im playing with default vram and smooth performance. I did try various drivers for my asus directCUII, but nothing helped.

    keep wondering about Russian genius in the technology :) Also All russian tanks are much underpowered in game, T90 would literary smash everything to peaces, if it had all real life technologies implemented in game.

    try ENBSERIS for Mafia 1, this game is also DX8 and it worked with flashpoint. But i preffer dxdll more with custom settings. Looks better.

    exactly, wishing an balanced game is nothing wrong, but wishing an unbalanced game, cause it's milsim, is a bit weird. For example, we could wish no respawn system in multiplayer - you die, buy a new game, you were not careful with your one and only life!

    to make it more enjoyable for everyone? If 1 team has bigger advantage over other, and everyone knows that, who would want to play in weaker team? Only freaks perhaps.

    but funny thing, in Project Reality mod for example, opfor owns/owned about 70% matches, with ak-74's and few SVD's only. So it's not always about balance, but about skills. It's even a bigger shame, that more high technical equiped team, loses to outdated ones.

    well why should they? BIS are from Czech Republic, Czech Republic is NATO, NATO is Bluefor, so yeah, why should they care much about their potential enemies? If BIS would implement in ARMA 2, anything opfor had to offer, larger weaponry, dynamic armor and SHTORA various tank defence systems, opfor actually would be in slight advantage over bluefor.:)

    and ofcourse, it should be bound to stamina and weight, so people won't overuse vaulting, it could kinda ruin gameplay, if we will have everyone climing around lol.

    i might be wrong, but vaulting over high walls, like in BF3 is rarely needed, but some smaller, human hight is more common, so yeah, being able to climb over human height walls is quite a nice feature. But it should be done in more realistic way, not so fast like in BF3 and stuff, so you should be in danger being shot down by climbing over walls.

  22. guys, if ur afraid of testing RC1, just keep 1.60 compatible beta patch, like 9444 and launch from it, if u want to play with 1.60 patch. :)

    i wonder what gamescom ticket costs? I would visit it just for arma, and metro last light if its present there only.
  24. i remember with first 1.60 beta, it was about few weeks before 1.60RC1 came.
  25. happened to me only when mission was close to the base, else i've been always teleported, but still way to far from extraction point.
