    i had problems spoting that spotters, failed about 4 times because of them, yes its more hardcore then showcase one, but i had more trouble with soppers, then fight through to the village.

    but forests are kinda usuless, your nearly like in a open field. Yes some have stones etc, but no bushes, nothing. ---------- Post added at 18:57 ---------- Previous post was at 18:36 ---------- do we need to repeat this every single time, it depens on server you play, it depends on mission you play, ping has nothing to do with your performace.

  4. i've just fired 5 shells at base centre, got killed pretty much of perhaps 70% enemies, 3 left shots killed the rest who ran on the ground. Had to take the towe guys out then.

    maybe, but i do hardly believe, there are no bushes, or smaller trees. You can't really find any cover.

    played with JSRS2 yesterday, for a reason, only vehicle samples worked for me. Now i could hear, how awesome do vehicles sound. Really nice hunter samples. Keep going LJ.

  11. but you don't take in account, it wook place on Stratis, which is 214235x times smaller then Altis. Would you enjoy 20hours campaign on Stratis, visiting same locations 10 times, under various circlesstanses?
  12. omg yesss yes! Finally more contrast and detailed textures at distance! Kinda always bothered me that bright ground at distance, quite ugly, and washed out texture. I hope BIS includes this to next DEV branch. voted Just run up your example mission from feedback tracker, noticed a bug.     lol, i didn't have trouble with it somehow, i guess BIS didn't expect anyone having such trouble at all :) I have one possibly explaination, people are so excited, that they want to start it up quick, and when you are in rush, you sometimes can't fugure simple things out :p
  15. you can't complain much about first episode. Not really much to do on Stratis, but on Altis, there is really a lot to do. Lets just wait and see. 2 CAS fixed wing aircafts coming for episode 2, i guess more reasons to be excited ^^
  16. i dont't mind as long as it's not overdone, at every step, and it's not about toilet, poop, fart and some other stupid jokes.
  17. i guess, some waypoints were not set to combat, in combat modus, bots are quite carefull and use tacticts.

    Is this color normal?

    just set HDR to standart in video options, for me it doesn't change any fps, but on low it looks brigh almost like that. Lower your ingame brightness setting, anything over 1.0 makes images look brighter.
  19. i sadly didn't measure FPS before and after, but i agree, i remember in dev branch, campaign felt more fluid, then on stable.

    Strangely, i'm having alsmost same FPS in Kavala, biggest city on Altis, as on Agia Marina (40-50 on ultra), the town at Stratis. Altis is quite good optimized for me, i was excpecting really bad performance after Stratis, but i was positively suprized, how well it run at release version. Not agree it's boring, did you visit all location on Altis already? Montain area at south west of map, is really good for guirilla warfare, convoi ambush, base hunt etc. mountains, hills. Kavala big city, can be used for tons of scenarios. Swaps at mid east of map, perfect for hide and seek scenarios, already played a pvp mission, 2 clans, was incredible experience. Large airfield can be used for billions of scenarios, from hostage rescue to large scale battle with all kinds of units and vehicles. There are much more places and i can't call them "flat and boring". There were some real life vs ingame comparsion images. In game looks pretty damn close, just few bushes less here and there, but thats a big deal. The only thing, what bother me so far, are midrange textures, especially flying low on chopper, at some areas it looks really ugly.

    i think, it's better to have short but polished and stable episode, then a huge, with tons of bugs and CTD's campaign.
  22. I have a question related campaign end titles, why by Music is a question mark? Why can't we know the names of great music composers for campaign + and remixed ofp theme tracks and others? The music is really great, can listen to it over and over, campaign was pertty good, and pretty short at same time. I do hope, next episodes, would be at least twice it's time span, but not leass interresting ofcourse.

    what i have wondered, why the forest do look quite empty, no smaller trees, no bushes, no anything, just trees trees trees. I've not much of idea, how the forests look at mediterranen, but i think, there is something more then just all the same trees, with same size and shape.
