Which version will you be buying?

As long as ArmA 3 is available on steam only, i won't buy it.
  2. I have some experience in doing website stuff (php/mysql, Photoshop etc.) and would love to contribute to this but i also suffer from burnout-syndrome which leaves me with "no energy days" mostly and some with some more energy... so count me in on an "easy-going" basis.

What is wrong with the ARMA Community!

Hahaha, thanks so much for sharing, i can´t stop watching + laughing. These boys know how to have fun @topic: If you are lucky (like last night on TWC), you can have a good time with public domi, insurgency etc. but generally - imo - they are pretty boring. I prefer "real" coop-missions with no or very limited respawn/revive instead. On the other hand i´m not able to join a squad atm which makes it pretty hard to find a good game. The idea of doing a website to meet and organize mission players sounds very good but setting it up and running can be a s´load of work. Why not do a dedicated thread in here instead - for announcing date/time/server/etc. only, no discussions - and get a TS3 to meet for "instant games" on random evenings? ArmA community is one of the best i ever met btw - less rage, more (virtual) war !
  4. I´d like to test (preview) my missions with "beginner" difficulty settings to have 3rd person and all the tags and markers etc. available for a better overview of what is happening, how units behave and react... How to change the setting for editor? It´s always running with "expert" settings. EDIT: just managed it by myself. Hit ESC when mission is loaded and go for Options-> Game Options -> edit the difficulty setting you like to use (beginner in my case) -> hit OK with or without changes -> go back to the mission.
  5. Last week on a Chernarus domination public: a group of players clears a town from enemies when an enemy chopper comes in to drop reinforcements. I was a bit more outside and "luckily" i had a stinger with me and fired at it. The chopper was starting to burn and went down in a long 180 turn finally crashing into a house. Sadly a group of 6-8 friendlies were just gathering behind that house to care for wounded and reorganize. They were good and brave men, but at the wrong time at the wrong place. No one survived. Hahaha, im still so sorry for that.
