    ^this, a merc unit that could do coops with other clans would be good. Your average arma pilot is still often pretty poor. A heli squad might make even more sense once TOH flight model is put in especially if you can fly well on elite (most people I played MP with on TOH struggled with expert)

    I'm guessing that you'll get all the features like they said, but the models will be low res and you wont get the missions that go with it if you don't buy the dlc, just like in A2.

    Villas, you seem to also forget that they also investigate what COULD have been gained, not just what has been gained. If Ukraine had joined the EU, then the EU gains an extra market to sell into AND access to very cheap labour, which would make the people in charge richer as they could then push wages down (the same as when Poland and other countries joined the EU, it pushed wages at the bottom end of the scale down/ caused them to be frozen). Also, isn't the US afraid of the EU getting bigger and becoming more competition to it so scuppering the EU will be a gain for them. Of course the Russians have helped things, but they aren't alone in the blame for the situation in the Ukraine.

    Indeed, servers would just need to make sure that the mods match between them and the client (force the client to have them), otherwise they will get invisible units and what not (we did that in TOH with the Hinds)

    Might it be worth mentioning to people about https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/activatedAddons Yes, I know you said try and keep it mod free, but this command allows mods to be optionally added into the mission PBO (obviously, you cant place any of the modded objects in the editor, you will have to spawn them or script them in). It will be interesting to see what the community comes up with, I will probably have a go myself and see what I make.

    To be honest, they probably found it too challenging for them. I wouldn't change it though as those people are the kind of people who would find anything not holding their hand hard. I've still to try the mission myself yet, probably will during the week.

    ^this, or BIS moving the advantages of HC into the main server exe, and maybe a module to do the load balancing for you (although might not be needed if they could improve the server to spread the load over all the cores)

    Didn't VBS (yes I know its not the same BIS) do a module that allowed Steel Beasts and a flight sim to interface with VBS?

    Just a follow up on this. I haven't had any crashes in Arma 3 for the last 3 weeks on dev branch nor have I had any crashes on main since Zeus was released. Well done BIS!

    Filled it in. Just a little note, my performance is better compared to Arma 2 since I have a much better PC (I went from my crappy laptop to an i7). Also, in MP it just depends where you play. In A2 on my laptop I could get 30fps on my clan server playing insurgency or stock domi, but going on certain servers (15th MEU ACE Domi as an example - they aren't the only ones) where the whole base is littered with stuff, or have hexibarriers around the ENTIRE base, would cause a fps drop, this still happens with A3 on my new computer. However, I just tend to avoid these kinds of servers nowadays (and make missions within the clan that perform well and are sensibly designed)
