  3. Allow me to share my experience related to this 'Tupolov melee-punch'. Though not shown in the video, several es and attacks could even knock zeds dead. This is so much fun. Thank you very much for sharing your addon, Sir! Keep up the good work. ;)

    Stuck on SP gaming since Arma: Armed Assault days as online/MP gaming is just impossible with my current situation. So thanks again for the SP consideration. Not to sound demanding in a negative way but if you could work on the SP simultaneously and release it maybe weeks after MP (not years) then I and other SP aficionados would be more than happy for such a kind act. :D For now, take your time and good luck on the project, guys. :cheers:

    Running at around 5 FPS during Showcases?

    , I only get about 19-22FPS with FRAPS recording the gameplay. That's a SinglePlayer mission on a laptop. Based on the premise that... ...the video I posted is therefore 'quite unplayable' ? I should really save up for a decent rig so I could experience a 'fluid' (SP) gameplay.

  16. We have different experience. , my experience with AiA was a favorable one. I had to stop at ~20min as it would take forever to upload recorded gameplays longer than that.

    I also run the game on a (2yr old) laptop; an MSI GX-640 with Core i7-720QM CPU and ATI Mobility Radeon HD5850 GPU overclocked to 810 MHz/1020 MHz via ATI Overdrive. Have to be contented as its the only one I've got. I might get a desktop soon should the budget permits. As such it's calculating the trajectory of every bullet, calculating precisely what's happening kilometers away off screen, and just generally modelling things realistically and accurately in ways that other games do not. This combined with the long view distances mean you will NOT see the same level of FPS in ArmA that you would see in a lighter weight game. The game IS calculating all that stuff accurately at your FPS, your numbers are likely similar to what many others you play with are getting, and just so long as the user experience seems fluid it's going to be fine."
  18. Hello everyone. :) Some observations regarding the Scorpion EVO-4 9mm in Arma 3 Beta version 0.74.108135 Stable branch. I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this. Particular issues encountered: no burst mode and no full-auto mode while Scorpion EVO-4 is suppressed. This was observed after updating to the latest SPOTREP #00008 dated 25th July 2013 from 0.72 (SPOTREP #00007) The video below shows exactly what I am trying to describe: Another video comparing behavior of suppressed Scorpion in version 0.72 Stable vs 0.74 Stable: My questions: 1) Was the Scorpion EVO-4's burst and full-auto mode while suppressed intentionally removed in version 0.74? Why? 2) Why was such change not included in the SPOTREP #00008 changelog? I tried to look for similar issue but to no avail unless this was already posted before (Dev build section ?). I am 100% sure there were no other updates applied to my game via Steam after 0.72.107486 and prior to 0.74.108135 which could cause such findings. 3) If it is not officially included in the changelog, would it be considered a bug? Go Arma 3 devs, you can fix it. ;)
