The two choppers? they could be reskined arma 2 choppers? or animated picture/video everything else was RL using some Ingame MOD for the HUDS

The fact is if the game is so realistic enough to not have any CQB at all? The knife is a one hit kill, it all depends where the blade penetrates nobody is thinking about people running around with knifes chasing people to stab them in arma, but its good to have a backup knife to use incase of a close encounter Plus i would really love to see the option for fix bayonets now thats realisitc :rolleyes:

What if you are behind the forces lines, with not alot but say a knife and a crossbow perhaps a compass/map You need to kill a solder to steal his gun. Now, yes you could have a silenced pistol but they are bad at accracy and not enough stopping power. then what happens when you run about of ammo? when hunting in the game You could easily pick up your used Bolts, and fire them agian and since Arma 3 is getting more advanced when it comes to weapon systems, why not It would be a challenge to learn to use the crossbow, since a bolts traval would be harder to get just right than a bullet

Since when did COD invent a tactical crossbow? I guess you think COD invent Knife kills as well?

What about a tactical Crossbow, for when you need a medium/short distance silent kill without alerting AI gaurds?

Thats why you have your own information such as total distance walked, many shots fired, most used aircraft etc into your own profile for personal viewing. (Not viewable online) who cares if people hack it, they will only be kidding themselfs. :rolleyes: I often think to myself, by how long i have played arma series, What is my most used weapon? How many times have i died by drowning? All these things could help you become a better player to actually highlight key areas that you might need improving on.

Overeaction much? lol :rolleyes: There is many things in the arma series thats not realistic, such as turning into a bird when you die. Yes you can get addons/mods for all these things if that was the case then no point in adding alot of things into the game, because modders will do it. Am not talking about craxy FX custom faces If you don't like it fine, dont use it, dosent mean its such a bad idea, People are most likely scared about arma 3 taking away what is arma and changing it to target a diffrent audience of gamers. What about an experiennce system of some sort, so you can buy avatar gear such as custom faces, gun camo, etc

It would be interesting to see on your profile things like time spent in aircraft, most deaths Total distance on foot. etc Not needed but interesting to see what you get up to in the game. :cool:

If two clans decided to have a scrim, then being able to see the stats after the game has finished would be good

would be nice to have some mixed sex in the game its getting to much more of a sausage fest atmo :p

I do think it would be really nice to see an option to Fix a bayonet to your rifle the animation would be a simple, Slash or stab with a botton this would no way take away what is arma, nor add anything that is Cod in fact having bayonets makes it more realsitc. Say you are in a tight Close combat situation, a bayonet on your rifle, would be great of use. Or if you are storming a building/bunker agian being able to have the option for a bayonet will be good. At times, its possible to run out of ammo, so its good to have a knife hell throwing it would not be that bad either, Russian Special forces could get a Spring loaded knife ;)
