This mod is amazing! Just wanted to let the modder know we (the players) appreciate all the efforts you went through to deliver this masterpiece for our enjoyment! :) -
Well, It's actually a representative democracy. You must trust the guy elected will do what the majority thinks is right.

2013 as in calendar year or as in fical year? If the latter, that guarantees an earlier release, because the 2014 FY starts in October 2013.

Wrong, in your scenario, attacking an UN state calls for foreign intervention ;)

So, I heard talks about new secession interest arousing again in the States; how far you think it'll go? I guess the secessionists don't stand much of a chance in open voting... unless something really out of normality occurs in the near future.

I played the demo again some months ago, plenty of servers to play, and lot's of people playing, even the demo containing only one map (Wake Island). -
My work is being illegally sold on World Zombie.ru

If you addon includes BIS assets, and that guys is reselling them (selling a new license, whatever) you could speak to BIS about it. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't Arma2 licence prohibits selling addons? -
Sounds like remakes to me. (if not, then Star Wars: Legacy please!)

ArmA, view distance and the curvature of Earth

The same failed reasoning: the people doing the multi/singleplayers aspect of the game are not the same people doing the terrain/geometric aspect of the game. -
It's now possible to mod Shogun 2. CA waited til they could sell all the DLCs and then released the mod tools :T

Chivalry Medieval/War of Roses

Am I the only one that played Die By The Sword some 10 (15?) years ago? :) It was very innovative, and I never seem again another game using it's approach to combat. You could swing the sword using the mouse or the number keyboard (like, you press '9' Enric holds his sword upward, pointing a bit to the right, then you press '1' and he does a diagonal downward slash). I also like the Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy approach, where the left mouse button actually triggers the attack motion, but you can direct it by pressing the directional arrows. So, if you wanted to do a horisontal left to right slash, you'd need to press the right button right before pressing the left mouse button. ~~~~~~ I'm highly curious about how these two games handle the melee mechanics... -
Postcards From A Furious China, or A new Star of David found in China
-GR-Operative replied to Iroquois Pliskin's topic in OFFTOPIC
Comparing the nukes at Hiroshima and Nagazaki to the Rape of Nanking makes no sense: the nuking was a response, but also an ultimate. It was obvious the japanese would surrender after it. But the most important part, it was perpetraded by the US, not by China itself. There must be a national feeling that China never took revenge, I would think. This is fuelled, also, by the denial of the scope of the massacre itself by a good share of japanese scholars. Any chinese forum comrade, please correct me if I am wrong. -
Of course they were not protesters, they went there to kill. Just because they were not protesters doesn't mean they were part of some conspiracy or NWO plot.

I was not speaking about religion anyways, more in a politic-economic sense.

You enter, point a gun at someone and ask: "Where's the ambassador?" Seems logical to me. No need for previous knownledge. ~~~~~~~~ [REMOVED THIS BIT. Was a bit angry that day, took it too personally, sorry] And also, people maybe don't realise there are other systems, because the current system they live was forced upon them by western powers in most countries of the world.

What if DAYZ becomes a stand-alone game and ARMA3 is still a non popular game
-GR-Operative replied to msy's topic in OFFTOPIC - Games & Gaming
English is not my strong point, so really, I did not understand it :( EDIT: Or do you mean that it is not logical BIS expending more resources on DAYZ, if it's a success? -
What if DAYZ becomes a stand-alone game and ARMA3 is still a non popular game
-GR-Operative replied to msy's topic in OFFTOPIC - Games & Gaming
Sorry, but this is a failed logic: if DAYZ is a roaring succes, BIS will spend more time/money on DAYZ. -
Differences in population concentration?

If I were to say it here, I would be called anti-muslim, which's not the case. But it's only one, and you know it. Also reading wikipedia, I've found some nice articles: Ennahda Movement (Tunisian) National Forces Alliance (Lybian) New Wafd Party (Egyptian)

Asking islamists to do not interfere in the subjects of their own country doesn't make much sense. All free, all dictatorships (sharia and all) now.

How close is ArmA 3 to real military action?
-GR-Operative replied to soldierkid's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Just saying, it gonna take some development time to comply with include, but is not limited, to the components and capabilities of the current FPS game, Virtual Battlespace 2 (VBS2). I must say it's pretty ambitious. But you cant forget that BIA can simply get this one too. BIA has this one sorted already haha -
