  1. I really love this mod a lot! But I just want to report an issue: after Arma 3's update (today) to 1.50 the mod no longer works...I mean, if I have it enabled endless loading screen, if I disable it the game loads normally. I don't know what did patch 1.50/1.51 or what's changed in the game's structure but maybe it can be fixed...

I say again the project is awesome and deserves more attention... please keep it coming :)

Yeah, I've had the same issue on development branch for a long time, too bad it didn't get fixed before stable was released.

Anyway I finally got to try the 2.0 version before the update and it's awesome, the spider zombies are super creepy. Good job.

  2. This mod is awesome, thank you.

Since Arma 3 released I've been waiting for a mod that is like Charon's Undead Mod for Arma 2, just place zombies in the editor and play without any BS.

This feels like it fills the need nicely and I had much fun playing with it, just writing this post hoping continued development.

  3. Great mod, thanks. Can't wait to see other dinosaur types.

    Brilliant! Thanks for sharing. :ok:

Fast and fierce dinos, sluggish and unrelenting zeds, men of valor... I think they make fun combination. Sandbox, anything goes!

Sorry for the off-topic but is there any info how to get zombie units from BP into the editor? I've been looking for something like Charon's Undead Mod for a long time.

  4. Good headphone setup does really sound amazing if you can't afford or use a proper speaker + subwoofer setup.

When I play on my workstation I use Sennheiser HD 650 cans and DacMagic Plus as a DAC / amplifier and it's great, I get a really immersive experience when playing.

When action starts nothing beats the feeling of bass in your ass from a good subwoofer, but my wife doesn't approve it late at night so... headphones it is.

  5. "Huge disappointment." That was the first thing that came to my mind after I saw "The End" popping up on my screen. I thought: "This is it? Really? There must be more! BIS has been building an exciting storyline over the episodes wich was continiously moving towards something big. Some twist in the end, some point where Kerry discovers everything, Miller's real identity and true goal gets discovered. And they're doing THIS?! Just hop on a chopper, get off the island, make tea and go to bed?! There must be something else, some decision I fucked up so I got to drop out earlier. Let's check the DevBranch thread..."

My words exactly. I chose the Miller path, and when the credits started rolling I was really disappointed. I expected a proper wrap up. Then I get a new mission, "Phew they were just fucking around with me, it was only the beginning".

Then a disappointment again. This conclusion wasn't what I waited for months and months.

  6. Since the memory fix for 32bit OS's I've noticed ARMA using less ram and stuttering more on my 64bit Windows 7 system. Also at the start of a mission on the map screen I'd have the whole Altis texture loaded, now it's only the area I'm zoomed to and as I pan around it loads the rest. Finally mid range textures appear blurred. I don't know what you did but my system doesn't like it.

I thought that the 32bit fix only increased the maxmem parameter by default on 32bit systems? If so, it would be very strange to affect 64bit systems in any way.

  7. Altis is splendid! But I wish there were sounds. I don't think I've heard a single sound from the actual game world. Not from windmills, doors, gates, transformer stations etc. I actually think that transformers in Arma 1 had a buzzing noise.

Yes, at least the door and gate sounds would be great and bring more immersion.
