Just a heads up but the Taliban Fighters seem to be missing the face_hub hitpoint selection in the mlod, this seems to occasionally cause crashes in certain circumstances

I'm still having an issue where it will override existing keys, in particular it will create a new private key and not sign anything if both the privatekey and public key are not in the folder specified by -d. -

I think he's more saying that you're leaving a script constantly running checking a condition that will never become true thereby lowering performance for nothing. -

Wasn't the whole point of this system in order to allow smaller, more frequent updates? It seems to be just falling back to where it was previously with the only releases being large releases. Like most repository systems rely on branches etc to avoid issues like this so new public builds can be pushed out to solve new issues without needing to send unfinished content along with it. I mean most of the issues that have come from the past two builds are config tweaks which could have easily been hotfixed using any other system.- 16550 replies

I'm not really a fan of such a phrase as it's usually something echoed by those afraid of change. The very fact that people turned off the system (and lets be fair here, it would be a majority) would be a major issue in the eyes of the developers. But I believe one of the main issues with the old system was the lack of a stamina bar, some tweaking to fatigue gain algorithim might have also been necessary but apart from that I think it would have been perfect. However, even if they did reach this point there would still be players wanting a more casual experience in this regard who would opt to disable it entirely, doubly so with this new system which is even more punishing than the last with the net benefit of being completely unappealing to realism oriented communities aswell. If they absolutely wanted to appease the casual crowd and the realism crowd at the same time it needs to be a difficulty setting, the fact that this scratched off the whiteboard so early is incredibly short sighted. The only possible reason I can fathom to not opt to make it a difficulty setting would be because it might confuse players if one server is running one system and the next is running another altogether but I would hope they do not have such low opinions on their player's intelligence to think such a thing possible.- 1935 replies

Yes it's absolutely ridiculous, they've gone back to square one and not only have they not improved upon the previous system they've made it worse. It's less transparent and even more obnoxious, except now for everyone instead just those not willing to learn the system- 1935 replies

They're saying to remove the safezones from width and height which only effect the size of it, that way they'll be in the same position and same size no matter screen size or aspect ratio -

while some improvements could be made to the old system throwing it out entirely for a sprint bar seems to be a strange decision. this should be something based on server difficulty settings as i'm aware a lot of servers simply disable stamina and this kind of system would probably appreciated amongst those communities- 1935 replies

just use this, the problem is because count is going to return one more than there are array entries as count starts at 1 while select starts at 0

I have located the issue. The string I was comparing the control text to changes when you click it for the first time. In Russian it goes from being Изменить to Правка and my script is looking for Изменить to save it properly. This wasn't an issue for most languages as the two strings were identical. Update here: Download People can rehost this one as I can confirm it works (tried English, German, Russian) Changelog: *Fixed issues where the insignia wasn't saving for some game languages *Fixed error appearing when an Insignia wasn't set to a profile EDIT: Whoops forgot to include updated signatures -

That's interesting, I'll look into it as I hoped it would work for every language but maybe the script can't handle the cyrillic characters -

I've had 20+ people test it and you're the first person to have this issue. What language is arma running as? I tested it with English and German without issue but i'm wondering if another language might have issues due to the addons reliance on the button labels -

That's odd. Well the profilenamespace is unique for each profile but unless you're setting it on one profile and expecting it to be there for the other I don't think that will be the issue. Can you try this updated version? here (please no rehosting until I know this actually works)
