The BMPs in arma 2 jsrs were loud as fuck inside we stopped even bothering to attempt a short briefing inside one as it's just people shouting 'WHAT?' at each other for most of it. -

install them both then run OA it should let you run as combined operations from there if you have them both installed Arma 1 and tactics are different games, arma 1 is the predecessor to arma 2 while arma tactics is a turn based squad strategy game similar to xcom and jagged alliance etc -

They're avoiding scripted solutions as it can cause significant performance loss, so it means a lot of work on the actual engine itself. -

It's probably executing before the players have fully loaded hence why it appears to be somewhat random who gets left behind. -

Sadly there's no real way around this other than scripting it entirely, I've attempted such things before and it's rather difficult to get the ejected shells to work -

Easy way around the setcaptive stuff is for scripts reliant on the players side to instead use 'side group player' instead of 'side player' as group player always returns the REAL side of a unit regardless of captive state -

displayeventhandlers keydown is the best way of doing it. That way you can intercept all keys except stuff like 'escape' etc -

I don't see why everyone is finding it so hard to fathom that you can just NOT fill it to max, the fact that the option is there doesn't mean you absolutely have to do it. If you're moving that many guys to the battlefield bringing more than one aircraft is probably a better idea regardless of their cargo capacity as if one of them gets shot down you only lose half of your force instead of all of it, but having the ability to load it up like that means that in a pinch you can carry that many guys. This is a good thing Do you honestly think during an extraction the crew chief is going to go 'Sorry guys we have room but that would be against regulations you'll have to wait until we come back.' -

Reread my post I'm aware of the .synq option, .synq is great for everything but private repositories which still use .rsync which you can't set the location of since the change over -
I'd like to note that UI elements are also breaking as there are configs redefining base classes.

I had a look into the blocky particles... I found why The entire CA and CA_E addons are in the mod files, part of which includes the particle stuff for arma 2 and OA, this is whats causing it. After I removed all the particle stuff things stopped breaking.

Any known fixes for explosions/smoke being square/blocky since installing this?

I'm not sure if I'm missing something but is there anyway to set the .rsync pack directory again? The only option I see is for the .synq directory and playwithsix was downloading updates to my old hard drive's sixpack folder and I had no means of changing this without just deleting the config and starting over again, and by doing that it's now bloating the game directory on my SSD. Was this option removed? if so, why!?
