Hi there. As the DLC "Laws of war" is about to be released (although already available in dev-branch), I'm just curious about your opinion. As for now, many countries have signed the Geneva convention and (try to) respect the laws of war. However, as stated even in the DLC, these are just theory. Things can definitely change IRL. As for what we know today, (Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc...) many conflicts are not 1 army vs 1 army / 1 country vs 1 country. Nowadays, we have more and more 1 army vs insurgents - which is quite diffcult to handle. Hence, the laws of war may not fit the current state of warfare - it was adapted once, but very difficult to actually adapt to modern conflicts. So, do you think: 1) the laws of war as we know do fit in the reality of today's warfare? 2) it is sometimes acceptable not to follow them? 3) a modern army can actually win an asymetrical war/conflict by following the laws of war when the enemy doesn't? Just as an example: - what to do when the enemy is using a school or a hospital as stronghold with sniper and mortar nests? - can you consider the death of civilian acceptable to ensure the safety/success of a mission (for example, to ensure they don't raise the alarm)? Note: I made this poll non-public so people can't know the opinion of others - so do not hesitate to vote!

I know that buddy, I support you 100% Plus all the people saying "it doesn't work" whereas they play with other mods... That's why I no longer do much on the editor.

Hi there. How the hell can I have a plane satying still? Everytime I place a plane in the editor, as soon as the engines are on the planes starts moving. I tried disableAI "move" / "path", stop true - but nothing works. Either on an airfield or on the carrier - but can't keep a plane still. Maybe I missed a command, Does anyone knows how to have them not moving?

Nope. Well, yes it won't move, but as son as it gets some fuel, it will start moving. Can't have a plane with engin on but not moving at all.

Well, I think Pavehawk are grey and soar birds are black IRL. The rest is up to you if you wanna add more camos. -

Problem is with jets/planes mission, there are very few objectives to make. It is very hard to be really original. - CAP - CAS - S&D and that's all

It is impossible, there is no female model ^^ (just kidding) Good news - though I hope it's Operation Arrowhead rather than Harvest Red (not a big fan of warfare missions) ;-)

What is really needed is a new medic system!!! It really annoys me a lot when I'm injured, the medic is still alive and although I say "injured", the squad leader never tells the medic to heal me. I think the best option is to do the same as ArmA 1 - hence add an option "heal" when the player is near a medic to force the medic to heal. Otherwise it's always random and very frustrating: we never know when or if the medic will come to help us.

-In the showcase "combined arms", the Blackfoot doesn't fire anymore. It just comes, fly by the camp and hovers behind it. It no longer circle above nor fire at the enemy.
