    Hi im stuck in the first SP mission (not campaing) i think in english the name is fire trial (i'm not, sure my game is in spanish), i'm new in this game so i can't say too much, when we cleaned the village, in the ruined church there is a soldier unarmed, and we need to defend the village against normal enemies and a bmp (i think is a bmp i don't know the name), the problem is my mates IA, specially my squad leader, they die too often, i dislike their strategy, and while we wait for the air attack we are very vulnerable, what can i do?

    Other question, i didn't finished the campaing, what kind of gamplay (mp, SP, campaing, etc,etc) is the best for me for improve my skills?, i love this game but i'm stuck in this mission all the day i changed my paths and strategies, even i change into more agressive but my mates die too often and me too (because i can't save them) :S

    PD: i'm playing veteran because i don't want to see my enemies easily, but in veteran mode the AI is the same as normal right?

    well, in that case let me post this link again.

    I'd get a gtx 560/570/580 depending on how much you want to spend. If you want to compare between brands (there's some different versions with other coolers and factory overclocks) you should look up a couple of reviews.

    nice link, really helpful, but in this list the author sai that gtx 470 and gtx 560 are very similar, but 470 is older, i think is cheaper than 560 right?, even 480 is better, but i don't have actual prices I think it's best to ask prices in my local stores, but at least now i have a good comparative, i can choose one card according to the price - quality, if i can afford it i will go for tier 2 or 3 i think, is hard to pick without knowing prices.

    I just bought one of these Gigabyte 560 OC's...

    They were down to £188 briefly at eBuyer around the end of February - I got mine at the £196 price they're currently selling for... I've seen them creep up to around £206 on eBuyer too... just depends on their stock I think...

    Best money I've spent in ages!!!

    I had an Nvidia 8800GTS 320mb before - scraped to mid-20's FPS with everything on "normal" (1920x1200, PP & AA Disabled) in Benchmark 1 & E08...

    With the new 560 that went to 60fps in Benchmark 1 & 58 fps in E08 (1920x1200, everything on Very High except PP & AA off)...

    An enormous improvement!

    By dropping all settings to just "high" (except for Anis & HDR on Very High, PP & AA off), I can crank the res to 4144x1200 across 3 screens with Kegetys SoftTH and still manage to average 35-40fps.....

    I can wholeheartedly recommend the 560 - and that particular Gigabyte model...

    I shopped around quite a bit before buying, and for anyone in the UK currently considering an upgrade - it's very hard to beat at that price!

    hi, thanks for the answer me, alot of money for me are more than 300€ (im european, i don't know how many dollars), thanks im interested in the ati hd5850, but is too expensive?

    I also have a Q9400 4 gig of ram and run a gtx 285 at 1920x1200, the game runs and looks great

    thanks you i when i will go to buy the new card i will ask for this 2, the gtx 285 and hd5850 but i think ati is cheaper, the problem is i had an ati in the past (low quality), and i had problems looking for its drivers, and i saw some post in google that says they have problems, but i think the problem is for all type cards.

    I want a big upgrade for my pc (9400 for games sucks, im always doing tweaks in the graphical settings in all games for playing in good quality, this time i can't even see the enemies when they are near plants ¬.¬)

    I don't know how are the max settings, all i know are videos from youtube with high quality and grapihc cards nvidia 9800 and ati h4850 (but i didn't see videos from OA), and is amazing, don't know if are max settings i guess not, but are alot better than my settings, with my 9400 i can't see properly :S, i need more resolution and if possible antiaislasing, but not too hight, enough to recognize the ground

    hi everybody, i recently bought both arma 2 and arma 2 OA, and i can play the game fine with 20-26 fps, but in low resolution (1280 x 720, for my monitor is very low resolution), and mid to low settings, the game is cool, but i want to feel more the game, i want to see great graphics, if anyone can help me choosing a new video card, right now i have this specs:

    -Nvidia Geforce 9400GT: i really want a new upgrade for this :S

    -Intel Core 2 Quad CPU (Q9400 @2.66 GHZ): i think this is a great processor, and i dont want to change it

    -4 GB ram

    -Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bits

    I read some post in other forums and everybody recommend nvida 9800 or ati hd4850, but this will be great for arma 2, but for operation arrowhed? i need even better videocard?, what card would you recommend me? in the manual the recommend settings for OA says: Nvidia Geforce 260 GTX, Ati Radeon HD5770 or superior with shader model 3 and 896 MB Vram, but is the hd4850 or the nvidia 9800 enough, is really any great differences betwen hd4850 and hd5770 and nvidia 9800 with 260 GTX?

    I dont want toy pay alot of money in a videocard, just enought for play great this game (and others i have). If is possible maximum settings, or nearly maximum, or at least high or very high

    Edit: i forgot to say if the ati videocards have problems, because i know more nvidia and i know they never gave me problems, but i don't know ati videocards, everybody says that the hd4850 es cheaper and powerful than 9800, but i will go for nvidia if the ati have problems (even minors problems, I don't want to spend my time on maintenance.
