Hi. I have a non-steam copy of A2CO. Would it be possible to have Steam BAF on non-steam A2? Would it work if I'd have downloaded the expansion through Steam and copied the files to my root A2 folder?

The search function didn't find what I need. It never does. It shows me everything but the thing I want to find. What I need is a code that will open a respawn menu after death, in which I can select one of two places where I want to spawn.

You can make the music playable for everyone by making triggers on Radio Alpha/Bravo/etc. and giving the music to effects of that trigger (of course in Name field you should write name of the song you want to play) and everyone can simply go to 0-0 menu and select the track they want to play. Works in multiplayer, tested it. Only thing that when someone plays the music, everyone will hear that.

[Something weird in Chernarus]

I am creating a mission, deploy a lot of forces near west border of Chernarus... Then, I see that some bushes are all in one place. I zoom in and... I see a word TRPASLIK made with bushes! Between Mishkino and Sosnovka, there's a like 0.7 km wide forest, then a narrow meadow, and then in the next part of the forest, there's a thing which looks kinda like a bird's head cut off from forest-and the word is there, near 286 altitude marker. Is that little green men work? :eek:

Hello. Recently, I've been playing through LAN with my friend, there was a thing that annoyed me. Everytime I called ambulance, medic, ammunition, fuel or repair support through 5-1 menu, the HQ said Negative. What should I do to get it work? Thanks!

Hello. Here's my question, how to spawn a humvee if task1 is complete? Condition of presence (taskCompleted task1) doesn't work. I want to do it through editor, I'm not quite familiar with other ways of mission creation.

Don't you guys read the whole topic? I already said that I bought ARMA + OA and combined them. I won't buy reinfocements because I simply don't need it. I've got a question, if I play through LAN on one key once, will the key be considered illegal and I'll have to buy the game again in order to play without fade on both machines (and any other machines that use the key)? I hope not.

Bought the game. I'm speechless... This is the best and most realistic game I've ever played. I've only played OA through CO though. I'm going to download all necessary patches and plug my microphone, then play on multi :) BIG thanks for your help again!

Thanks once again for replying. I think I will buy Arma+OA and combine them, won't buy BAF or anything else. I ran demo on second "harvester" and run fine on medium-high settings with visibility set to 1600 and normal details of everything else, except for AA and AF, both disabled. I also was able to play demo on 3 computers through LAN. Downloaded OA demo too, didn't play so much but what I played already was kinda fun. I'll buy the game ASAP. Thanks once again.

PS. Don't threat me with Steam! I won't touch that waste of time, money, nerves and joy of life.I bought MW2 on steam and it is enough for me for the whole life.

Read the whole message guys, you missed that it's the second compi specs... I played ARMA 2 demo on my first comp and works quite fine. Sadly, I couldn't find CO anywhere in my country, so I'll have to buy separate ones. Thanks for your answers!

Hello! I want to have ARMA 2 and have a couple of questions:

-Should I buy OA and some other addons too (if so, please recommend me one or two and if you can, describe in a few words, what does it change, what does it introduce to ARMA world)

-Will I be able to play in LAN on one key or the FADE will kick my ass again? :)

-Is BAF worth it?

I mainly aim to PR ARMA ( :) ) and to play through LAN. Also, want to know if my second compi (Sempron 1.8GHZ one core, 2GB RAM, HD4650) will do well without overclocking :) Thank you for answers, see you on the servers!
