  1. to play warfare you don't need mods and you can set setting no spawn on medics,cams etc + no arty and no fast travel also you can limited distance in settings.

    On XR server 3d on in vehicles except gunner 3d off for infantry/gunners and you can have same map/game play as old crcti in ofp.

    But almost no one play with these settings.Normally arty on and missile range is 4km.Very rarely admin set no spawn in towns.always you can spawn on mash and medics.

    Last time I play on crcti was much less people and a lot of things which was never in crcti.There is also annoying same tab to lock kill from 4km.If you using 400mb mod you can implement tab to lock restriction and view distance upgrade.


  2. The day we see that bench 2 being beat will be maybe in 2-3 years with new cpu generations! that means over 60fps! We will be able to play arma 2 with lots and lots of AI!Maybe middle of arma 3's life!

    After a point ocing cpu does not effect arma anymore....my i7 920 i tested from 4 to 4.3 and only gain 5 fps after that 4.4 and up there was no difference...but with 3930k @ 4.3 i got 5-8 frames more than my 920 @ 4.3 (clock to clock + extra 2 cores) and an extra 5-8 more @ 4.8!And the same with 3930k after 4.8 no gain....this was all on a custom mission that i use to test in game.

    because 920 is x58 chipset 3930 is x79 with quad channel ram and it much faster.CPU no much difference for gaming within same chipsets.

    Currently amount of players inside of vehicles decrease power of vehicles.In other words gunner and pilot in chopper or plane is less effective than only pilot with another magic manual fire.Most players prefer fly alone as well as tankers.2 1 player tanks can do more job than 1 with driver and gunner.It also relayed to TAB issue.

    Should be absolutely opposite.

    I understand that most tab fans are have serious knowledge in weapons.But I'm talking about game and weapons implemented and mp game aspect only.But I should say I play 11 years since ofp and I saw real war in Moldova 1992 and have opto-electronic and laser devices bachilor equivalent technical degree. Most your knowledge takes from brain-washed sources. 128 targets for 30 seconds :) why USA need anything else than ah64d ?I still remember story how Iraq farmer shot down such chopper in the middle of war.

    Been show on all channels.


  4. oh yes - may be 128 in 30 seconds :) - tell me how much time need to identify and destroy 1 target - e.g.tank

    Weapons you try to imaging (like in game now) never exist and not will be in next 100 years at least.

    Attack chopper or plane not able to fire 2 missiles in 2 different targets without any other devices or additional units and without direct view.In game now you can kill 8 targets as fast as you can click tab and fire and this fact is kills game play.

    I can accept 1 target at time with realistic time to lock ,within realistic angle much lower probability to hit and only big objects like tanks or bmps not uaz or bikes :)

Pop the radar above the terrain (or take radar feed from another helicopter), the missile is fed the targeting info, you fire it, then you move on to next targets. Radar hellfire you just "click on" the little boxes shown on the radar mfd (very much like the tab-locking in A2) and fire off missiles.

    yes - look your video carefully - gunner input target into radar using visual contact and then transfer it to missile.Radar only track target - not detect.Radar not able to detect lock determinate friend or foe on 360 degree around.There is no such weapons allow you clear all territory 4x4km around air vehicle off enemy vehicles.

    And it effect game play.Most mods now trying rid of of it(pr ace valhala). Maps who use vanilla setting (warfare) looks like inf or air maps only - not armor.


  6. It's not too slow, it's just that it collides with the jet that launches it. The launching position needs to be lowered.

    First of all this make me smile.There is not such missile as ch29.Missile x29 yes.Someone called it KH29. But CH29 some kind of joke :).     I build and sold with warranty more gaming pc than you saw on tv.

    I know many kids here on forum and I just not pay attention on some comments.

    BTW Pufu is this coincidence that your 2 rigs 1 got asus mobo and another gigabyte ?What about to sell them and buy asrocks :):) I know that you dont like me and I know why.Unfortunately it is not relayed to game or my opinion regarding gaming performance.

    Do gaming test on asrock mobos same drink alcohol free beer.

    May be asus or gigabyte but not asrock.

    Intel base chipsets system run faster amd based around 20% - the most problem that they cost more than 20% - that yea - but 20 and 25 fps is huge difference for gaming as well as this 20%

    I recently tested intel hd 3000 on toshiba r850 laptop (55 chipset) and found that 8gb ram machine run equal FPS intel 45 chipset with dedicated ati 4570.No way that any shared amd system can do same.I'm not talking about that amd still not able to sortout overheat problems and over 1-2 years chipsets phisically pull-off motherboards and owner have to order reballing them which not last long ater that.

    Check problems with laptops toshiba L450D HP DV6 and many many others


  9. build a3 pc when game will be released : )

    if you want play now build arma2 pc lol

    take latest intel chipset and as much as expensive graphic card.

    Cooling system and power supply are important.

    Ram,Cpu and rest components are not,unless you will decode HD video on it.

    Dedicated sound card give you some more options and blue ray drive as well :)


  10. what exact name of map ?

    I never plays sp maps since ofp but I tried today.

    Funny things I got very similar result so may be it game issue.

    I run takistan map with tanks with 4km vd all drivers in app pref and game setting 1920x1080 all very high except pp and shadows off and game runs on screen frame rate not problem as soon as I got enemy ahead fps drops to 20.when I killed them fs again 60 :)

    I never saw such effects in mp games :)


  11. My approach would be to add auto repair to cars and trucks driven by AI,

    or if possible make those vehicles tires not damageable (by environment) when driven by AI.

    Tanks not on road problem:

    I did enough tickets to cit and I'm still waiting to be fixed most important sound of/off,may be some efforts about tab/radar will be done etc...

    Another thing - someone driving and hit tree or stone and you injured and making meeeee sound all the time.We need medic kits for everyone to heal small injures same for ai.They need heal automatically without any command unless they not under-fire.


  12. Repair problem:

    problem is that if you driving uaz for example and hit small stone you brake wheel and cant move forward.I'm sure it is very annoing for pvp.Same situation with ai.Recently I found that sometimes m1a2 or t90 can be damaged and wont move.ai not reported about it and you can only guess that truck or trucks was damaged.

    Tanks in takistan not stick to roads what ever situation is in warfare map.sometimes they get stuck in stones sometimes trying climb on hill.

    In ofp crcti map we have in commanding ai menu key 6 command called repair.When you asking vehicle to repair it

    automatically looking nearest repair point and when find it vehicle start repair.

    Realistically every vehicle should have repair tools and drive able to fix it.

    I think same should be in game.
