Is it possible that could be the mods? There's more people with the same mod files, downloaded from the same host, and works fine for them. :soh yes - try to play simple SP and MP maps with no mods loaded and see how it goes.
if it not problem then you can try warfare maps without addons.
If you will play ok mean that problem with mods.
Try download them again a load 1 by 1.

Kotov12345 did you try the ACE damage system for tanks yet? Is this something you're looking for (at least temporary)?yes- but I'm not talking about temporal solutions.this require to be working in large maps like warfare ,big servers with many players on them and need to be fixed in game.
For that reason ace not suitable.server stops working too many updates and as results ace not popular.

Mate, your link does take people to your channel, maybe link it to the vid hey. It land people on a vid about guinea pig waning chirps. Interesting yes, ArmA 2 no.m8 I have around 75 arma videos on my channel all from online pvp games.
They looks like unedited clips frapsed from battle scenes with 40 and more players.Problem that youtube not allow you organize channel that only uploaded arma video shows.
They not movie because I dont know video editing - but they presented as best reasonable quality to see details(1080p).

Well I guess I'll add in camp respawn as a parameter, but camp respawning will be ON by default.and metis or javelin it self is not issue and price as well.Just need limited locations where you can have them.Let it be ammo truck only or special build like barrack now or may be make new build like gear factory :)
make prices high or low it is big mistake for map creators.Every player should be able to use any weapons in game in logic way.
Ammo and vehicles can be taken in base only and if someone dies - he can not be revive unless someone else can help him.(spawn in base only) or special building which can be destroyable made but no access to addition weapons(ak74/m16 + 1 rpg18/m136 can be given).
Tanks need to be lowed in price unless bis change current damage system.
Base building need to be more expensive limited in quantity and stronger.Optionally need possibility to have repair truck to rebuild them - may be do rebuild truck ?
Air vehicles more or less balanced now - no problem.Will be good to have option to use ai in rapire/tor sytems but current is ok as well.
Arty need to be less accurate and less powerful.

IMO the default system is a fairly good compromise all things considered. However, the best system to date is the ACE damage modelling.

yes - ace match more attractive then game itself - but it lags like hell.
Don't need to make such lag to have better config in damage system.
I only saw one server plays warfare map and never saw that game finished.
Normally ai stop moving and became unkillable and admin restart server.
I have 120 fps in takistan - in ace I have 30 same setting.

currently I stop playing warfare map due to huge dis-balance when you use tanks.
You buy 3-4 ai tanks and take town - other player just spawn with metis or even rpg/smaw and kill them like chicken.
So currently not point to buy tanks.They only good when not players near or may be other reason.
This not only me - it is also my friends told me about it.
Currently warfare mostly player only map no ai.Originally map was designed to play with ais.Iif you waste 30k to have 4 tanks with you you should have some advantage to single player with rpg.But not in game 1 player with camp spawn can kill all your tanks take town - rearm and go to next town.As result players stop using ais and stop playing arma2 at all and play bf or crysis or what ever because ai is one of the biggest difference when you compare arma2 and other games.
Do options is not solution - as you see above people lazy and want teleporting and want to have weapons all the time - but only 5-6 players player on each server.1 years ago you can find space with play warfare all servers was busy at evening time - look now.Is onyl arma2.ru busy all the rest......
If you give option that equal all players in game (same in other games ) or maps you will get your map and game popular.
You can build spawn bunker or other big building.Migth be option to take spawn bunker from enemy.
In operation flahspoint we play mfcti and you can spawn at hospitals.
Cleanrock make new map where you can spawn only in base.As result crcti maps became much more popular and we have clan battle every year based on crcti maps.
Currently we cant re-create crcti maps in arma2 due to several reasons - but we can keep some principles that was very attractive in past.

there is new idea about spawn - what about remove spawn from camps and give every player vehicle for spawn. limit like 1 only per player only and can be used only in static position with same script as mhq.

There is absolutely no limitation in setting up a team deathmatch between 2-4 teams (west, east, resistance, civilian)..
yea - exactly - west east civil resistance - who else.It fixed nationality.
US army Russian.
I'm talking about possibility to change uniform in player profile for example and make fight east as team 1 vs east as team 2 for example that I'm sure limited possibility now because I never saw it in missions.

kotov, you should really try and keep some of those suggestions for yourself (it seems your new internetz home is these suggestion subforums), as it clearly shows you know very little about this game...tell me about it m8 - do you know that we play together in ic-arma 3 years ago ?
I play 10 years and if you have somethign to say here - do it and do not discuss my personality - it against any forum rules.
I'm sure it not implement in game yet.
Will be nice to see ability to choose uniform for each team and weapons they use as well as setup friendly and enemy for each group.
In game west team is enemy for east team by the default.
I'm not talking about create ticket in dev now and understand this may be idea for future games.

I got another idea to coders of games.
I really not sure how it looks like now - but generally idea to have team who fight with each other not west vs east or other method - idea to remove nationality or original from group of fighting teams.
For example TEAM 1 vs TEAM 2.
For example both team can use American or Russian or whatever weapons and both have Amerasian or Russian or whatever uniforms etc.
May be 4 teams in game with all mixed weapons and uniforms.
PVP games with each team have same uniforms looks very excited on my opinion due to players should more interact with each other and more communicate.
Game will be more politically attractive and correct and actual with no real countries in game.
Only weapons and relations between players in important.

arma2 uses more than other games.
Can be millions reasons why it happens.Try play game without any mods and see how it goes.
If same problem mean you got software or hardware problem.If problem disappear mean that problem with mods.

It works okay for now, its not awful or stopping me from playing, if a patch is released that solves this, fair enough, but I'm not irate about it, nor am I irate about the fact my fanboi T72 gets creamed so easily, apparently, since that apparently happens in real life anyways.your opinion is accepted and not necessary to write about it again.
Will be nice to read some constructive ideas from other members.

We're talking about tanks in the game, that gaming being Arma2. In the game, generally speaking, the M1 is more survivable and it can cream enemy armour if used well. To me this reflects the real life scenario quite well, hence I have no argument with the game.If soviet fanbois are so unhappy with the fact the game behaves like this. then either don't play Arma or get hold of a mod or something.

Yes obviously two weeks in the game is going to make a massive difference to ones understanding of the real world.....:DOr clearly you know better because you have had the game for two years or something, lolz on you mate.

problem is that no one care care what you think.This thread relayed to problem in the game only not belongs to problem with soviet or any other tanks in real life.
ARMA2 is not even close to tanks simulator and not able to cover aspects that you guys talking about like crew survival and others problems.I saw war myself and talked to people who was real tankers in USA army and soviet and I'm not asking anyone what you think about Russian nor American tanks.

I still wonder why BIS added army's M1A2 TUSK instead of real M1A1HC+ with TUSK kit, as designed for Marine Corps.
same reason why Russian tanks have tanks on the back,but here on long drive only - not in the battle field.
Basically they don't know what they doing.

He is talking about that because of its design and the way the ammo is stored, a T-72 is more likely to explode.Yes - if tank got shot to turret.This is very known problem but nothing relayed to game.
I'm not talking about particularly T72.I'm talking about balance in game based on realistic facts.
The fact is M1A2 hold 20 rpg shots and T90 is 8 is completely crap and called broken game play and bug.
As well as same choppers blows after 2 sabots shots and T72 blow after 1.
My idea not concentrate on particular models but change armor and damage for all models in game.This is very simple to change.

if you look in mp maps warfare maps most popular - but problem that quantity of players who plays it less and less.
So Guys who know maps creating tips (may be BIS will do it - who knows ) have chance to write their name into history :) and give us new warfare/cti map:)
I think maps need have next poins:
1.should be used easy for ai island.Ai infantry or vehicles should reach any part of it.
2.towns should be taken based on difference between friendly and enemy forces inside (same as in AAS AGW PVP scenes principle).
3.Supply can be good idea - but IMHO current warfare system too far from realism(and original trucks idea not been used long times).May be needed to build supply depot in each town where player can spawn get ammo and can be destroyed by enemy. May be remove it completely and only amount of towns give you more money can be used to buy weapons.
4.spawn - need to be restricted on base only.Fast travel camps medics etc looks like cheating.Also change team or spawn instead ai is good idea.May be build supply depots which can be used as spawn outside of base.
5.Base should be defend-able,Reparable and have important role.
To make game more simple may be useful to have possibility build base using one click.
6.Building - sometimes I think that we don't need mhq.
May be use some kind of build trucks and give 2 3 each team at start ?
May be give every player build own base around main base ?
May be implement building factory - which can be build using building trucks ?
May be use system when some factory died - chat to players that for example AIR FACTORY IF OFFLINE.To remove building itself set damage equal 20 tank sabots and do factories repairable.
7.weapons - will be good to able to buy any weapons in game what ever team you play.
8.Teams should be politically independent and politically corrected.
No Russia no USA etc
alpha and BETA , 1 and 2 - may be 1,2 and 3 ?
Game needed to be more flexible.
9.NO Rearm in the middle of nowhere :) - when player buy rearm - he will get ammo-box para-dropped nearby.Time to get box should depends on distance from his base.
