    Hi,

    thank you for reporting your issues, according to our logs the problem is on Steams side, we're trying to resolve the issues asap, we will keep you posted on the progress. We apologize for the inconvenience.  

     

    UPDATE

     

    Until the issue with steam is resolved, you can redeem you steam codes manually, please check your store accounts and click on your purchase, you should see your steam codes with a link to the instructions on how to activate a product on steam.

    Hi,

    we had to upgrade the forums, because the version we used wasn't supported any more, and from next year there won't be any security updates, so it would have been a security risk to keep using it.

    So... I've run into a few issues but this one is annoying me the most.

     

    While in the manage units page, I can't update anything because every time I press the save button, a message appears in the top right in a red box saying "An error occured while processing the requested operation." 

    What do? :(

     

     

    At the moment I get an error every time I click on "My Units"

    I want to change the image for the unit via "Edit Unit Profile & Settings" -> Media -> Unit Emblem.

    Everytime I upload the new one it is shown very small above the old one.

    If I click on save I get again the same error and the image won't change.

     

    Error Message (upper right, red Background):

    An error occurred while performing the requested operation.

     

     

    Wyqer I get the same problem, except I'm trying to create a unit.

    Hello guys,

    so, we've created our unit "Garde Républicaine - PI 3.II", and my mate invited me to join the group. But, i found and joined it before i accepted his invitation. And he then transferred ownership to me. But, his invitation was still pending, and not knowing if i should accept it or refuse to get rid of the invitation window : i accepted it.

    Long story short : we've lost ownership. 

    Could you put one of us back in charge of the squad ?

    Problem solved... 

     

    I dont know it is your work, or my?)))

     

    I change resolution for Logo on Arma3units to 512x512 with PNG format (PAA not aproved for Arma3units upload). And now it work in game by Squad logo

    You should upload a PNG file, we do the conversion for you ;). It probably helped that you changed, the format/uploaded again ;)

    one more question:

     

    No squad logo.... It is normal for present time? or i could add squad logo?

    Hi,

    there are still some issues with the squad logos, because the game needs to use PAA files instead of PNGs, so we have to convert the PNGs to PAAs, and depending on the image size/complexity etc. it can fail. We are investigation the issue ;)

    Hello there,

    I can't change my infos in account.bistudio.com/profile.

    When I click on "Edit", i can access to the edit form but when I click on "Save change", nothing happen.

    I've don't found any report about this.

     

    Someone have the same bug ?

    On the not being able to edit units. 

     

    I changed my logo, worked great. Then I tied my BI to Steam, and was unable to edit unit. Not sure if there a connection. Just the sequence of events I was doing, before I was unable to edit unit anymore. 

     

     

    Confirmed. "Edit Unit" option is broken, after selecting "Edit Unit", i'm left with an empty screen that just shows 4 windows for "Browse Units, Browse Events, Play Now, and My Units". Nothing else is on the page but those 4 windows.

     

    Also, in player profile, i notice on the Unit section it has a place for the xml. However, the Unit's page doesn't have an .xml with the logo we have set. Is this feature to come in the future so as to allow Unit members to have their logo's on the patches and vehicles? Or does this feature have to be hosted by a third party.

    I like the update and the linking of Steam to BI Accounts!

     

    I would just like to know how the plans are going, if any for a public API? We built our own platform that automatically manages Squad XML, sign on with steam, slack integration and will soon have TeamSpeak server group integration, skills management and Google Calendar integration among other things and so I would like to have it also manage the Units page to synchronize members and ranks in order to reduce management overhead.

    thank you for your interest. Although we can not promise anything, we are looking into having some for of a public API for unit management. In the near future we will be focusing on bringing the new features on the website/game to the community first.

    I was trying to register a new unit tonight, and I think it wants me to log in on the site. But instead of the login dropdown I just get an empty dialog:

    yeah you need to be logged in, but it seems that the login form isn't showing for you. Please send me a PM with the browser/version and if you're using any browser extension that might block javascript etc.

    Thank you for the image. We tried it and the upload should work fine.  There might be one confusing thing in the UI though, because a missing logo isn't a regular state, the UI will show red until you upload an image, and to do so you have to select the image you want to upload and then press the "SAVE" button. So I just want to make sure if you pressed the "SAVE" button on the bottom of the form

    I can't finish my unit registration, because the unit emblem color doesn't turn from green to red. I can upload all kinds of png files that are minimal 400x400 and below 300kB but nothing changes. It breaks the unit registration.

    there was a bug there, refresh the page and it should work now, sorry for the inconvenience.

    I'm getting an error message every time i try and register my unit.

    I have been trying to edit our unit page, but for some reason i cannot save changes. A "forbidden access" icon pops up over the save button ?

    I have tried using firefox, chrome and Edge, no joy.

    Is the site under maintanance ?
