I wonder if that enhanced movement Mod is the issue..doesnt that read things differently so you can climb on them? I dont use it so I'm not sure but that would be my wild guess. Diesel

I updated CBA on my server today too but havent had any issues with anything..been on Everon for the last 3 days or so and have 3 FOBs built no issues at all. Maybe a conflict with another Mod you have? I run the CUP Mpas too so I dont think its that.

I dont think that version is correct..it says 3.2.0.170224 on the rar file but the page says 3.2.0.170227. Weird..yeah the .rar file says 224 but the files are 227. -
No roles in Multiplayer on Dedi Server

So I edited a mission and uploaded it to my server but all of the roles are blank..there isnt anything there to choose from..works fine in editor and when I host locally but once its on the server It has no roles to choose from..Ive had this before but for the life of me I cant remember how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Diesel -
Thanks..I actually have custom music in my missions as well as I added custom intro music to Liberation and have Stevie Ray Vaughn in my Helos for music. Just seems like the actual vehicle sound is too loud..I run my sounds in the game pretty high to hear far away contacts or incoming vehicles but the idea of being able to turn down the sounds when inside a vehicle would be cool..it shows in the extended options menu of Liberation but I could never get it to work right...maybe the 1.66 update broke the script. Speaking of sounds..has anyone actually gotten the volume control to work that controls the volume inside vehicles? I am now using JSRS as an option on my server and everything is louder but I never could get that option to work correctly...or if someone has a different script that would work I'd gladly give that a try. Diesel

So I downloaded the new VSM all in one collection mod but am having real issues getting it to work correctly..I uploaded the mod to the server just as I always do..put the keys in the keys folder and put the title in the Mod line but the server doesnt read the Mod at all..its like it isnt even in there. At first I loaded it with all of my other Mods loaded then went back and loaded just the VSM Mod and still the server wouldnt read it. I asked about this on the VSM thread but no luck. I have 7 other mods that work fine and havent had any issues with but the VSM Mod just wont work properly. I get nothing in the rpt it just boots me when I try and go into the server. If I disable it on the clientside I can get in just fine. Just wondering what some things may be causing it not to read the Mod. The folder is named @VSM All-In-One Collection I was told take out the spaces,use underscores and also to shorten the name..all of witch failed to do anything. I use battleeye and I have verifySignatures at 2. If anyone has any suggestions on where to look I'd appreciate that. Diesel

So I got the @VSM to show up as reading the Mod..it shows green in the server list but still kicks me on connecting. I ran an all vanilla config with a vanilla mission and it works fine. I still get this error showing up in the rpt. Warning Message: You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted. a3_characters_f But its all vanilla with no addons. I did a check game integrity on the server and on my client machine both and they both were fine. It should be already active...go into gameplay_constants.sqf and make sure the top line has the correct map name or whatever name you give it for the map you are on..thats what saves the game. Looks like this: GRLIB_save_key = "GREUH_LIBERATION_SAVEGAME_EVERON"; Change "EVERON" to whatever map you are using or a unique name for that map. there is also a wipe game in the mission parameters if you want to wipe the saves and start over. Actually I have altered both of those scripts for RHS Conversion and some CUP stuff...but I always keep copies of original missions for fall back if need arises..the mission does have some issues but still I think it is one of the best ones out there. You can set it up any way you want..its easy to port to other Maps and can be tailored to fit just about any game style..its pretty much all I use on my server anymore...now Ive got it down to where its almost all infantry fighting and an occasional Zu Gun Truck from RHS..added a few things to the build menu for the FOBs and changed the rewards to reflect the gamestyle. Ive got it ported now to almost all the CUP Maps..and having everything the same makes it easy to drop files in to change the loading screen and text,the music,the classnames of vehicles and all infantry and the rewards..I think Ive learned more about missions and scripting with this mission than any other Ive torn apart and played with...cant say enough about it and how much I enjoy it. I'll check that next time I'n in the server...thanks for the reply...just gotta say after adjusting things to light vehicle and infantry with the RHS Conversion been having an absolute blast with this mission..I have a pretty small group so the infantry and light vehicle based stuff is great..not overwheleming but not easy at all but yet still doable..Thanks again for the reply Sil..much appreciated! I'm having a UAV issue..for some reason it doesnt show up in the Arsenal..it used to be a UAV Backpack. I can find that in the editor but not the arsenal. I also listed the UAV itself(Darter) and the UAV Backpack in the classnames extensions so the mission should see it. Is this an issue with the mission itself or something with the arsenal? Diesel

Check the classnames.sqf or the classnames_extension.sqf and be sure the enemy ammobox is listed and its correct..I had that issue when I replaced classnames with some RHS stuff. East Ammobox ammobox_o_typename = "Box_East_AmmoVeh_F"; from classnames_extension.sqf

Check gameplay_constants.sqf there is a recycling percentage in there..i think it is at 0.65 default..I thought there was a recycle manager someplace too but cant seem to find it at the moment. Diesel

They are perfect for Logistical stuff...especially on Tanoa and some other CUP Maps too. I use no respawn or very long respawn on my server for vehicles so having a landingcraft to get them back to base for repair or getting a repair truck to the vehicle is essential. I find it more fun instead of just having everything respawn right away. My only issue is well..with any of the boats in A3 is none of them have any kind of anchor system..witch is odd I think..in heavy wind they will float away from shore. Anyway..good to see you are back and enjoying life...thanks for the hard work on everything you do for the community. Modding sometimes I think is like running a server..everyone takes it for granted it will always be there. Diesel -

Was really hoping the new project was going to be a re-work or update to the MK10 or the LCAC..especially now with Tanoa having all the islands. Why BI didnt include a landingcraft is beyond me. I still use your MK10 all the time..I dont fly I crash so getting supplies and equipment from point a to point b across water...well the landingcraft is my only option..lol Diesel -

I always just re-uploaded the files with ftp..and it takes forever..I'll look into the steam cmd thing..My server provider does have a few mods in a mod manager they use but RHS isnt one of them yet..I'll have to ask him about putting RHS on the mod manager. Got the RHS stuff re-uploaded in record time today though..4 hours...lol Diesel- 16577 replies

Ive got an Altis version but its got alot of Mods on it..if you go back a few pages there is a link to where you can do the port yourself to whatever map you want. I just did one to Zargabad using all RHS stuff..I took out all the heavy stuff and basically edited it to be a small vehicle and infantry mission because zargabad isnt as big as most maps..so far am having a blast on it. If I find the link for porting it I'll post it for you. Is there any way to just get the files that got updated..as it sits alot of us have to re-download the entire Mod then re-upload the entire Mod to the servers..for alot of us thats 4-5 hours or more just doing uploads with ftp. If there were just files that were updated it would be easier to just overwrite what we already have. Maybe that could be an option in the future. Diesel- 16577 replies

I rent the server so the Users folder contains the TCAdmin Battleye and ServerLogs...all the other Mods I use are always put in the main Arma 3 directory. Ive done what you suggested and have loaded each Mod seperately and they all work fine including my own small Cap Mod I made awhile back. That rpt that I posted Only has VSM in the Mod line along with the ServerLogs. Other Mods I just download them put them in the main A3 directory put the keys in the keys folder and they work fine.thats why I am so frustrated with this because the VSM is the only Mod Ive had issues with. I went through and double checked to be sure there was the addons folder and bisign files in place and everything is where it should be. I always upload via ftp and have'nt had any issues with corrupted files at all. Its the weirdest thing that it just wont read that Mod for some reason..just baffles me why it doesnt work. Diesel
