  1. Honestly, not really sure what to check for in the RPT.
  2. Got a problem with a mission I'm working on. ***This problem is only happening on a dedicated server. When I preview the mission through the editor or run on my own machine the spawns are working fine. On a dedicated server the opfor military placements are not spawning in. However, my opfor units placed with the CQB module & Civilian Placements are working. Any ideas on what may be causing this on the server? *Map is Sangin
  3. ********Figures I spend an hour trying to troubleshoot and the after making this post I figure it out myself. To those interested the problem was caused by my "Message of the Day" containing parentheses in it. Hello, trying to set up TADST with Arma 3. When I hit "LAUNCH" the Arma 3 loading window pops up. When the loading bar is near completion I get an error: "TADST_config.cfg, line7: Config: 'G' encountered instead of ','" The Server window in the top left creates with "20:32:44 dedicated host created" but when I hit the "OK" button the the error the error box and the server box both close. Any ideas? I've also hit the "reset" button within TADST thinking maybe I edited I line incorrectly but I get the same results.

  5. Tried searching around for this answer but couldn't come across one. BUT is the R3F Logistics script compatible with the persistence that Alive brings? For example if I used R3F to construct an Outpost or COP or something will it be saved through Alive on server restarts and such?
  6. Is there a way to use the CAF Aggressors with this? Would putting the faction name "caf_ag_afr_civ" into the pool work?

    [R3F] Logistics

    Having a bit of trouble getting this into my mission. I put: nul = this execVM "R3F_LOG\USER_FUNCT\init_creation_factory.sqf"; into the init field of a connex container. I scroll mouse over the object in game and see the option for the creation factory and I select it. It then starts to load up the factory where I see a blue screen (almost looks like the sky) and then its like the creation factory crashes and it goes back to the regular in game screen. Is the script compatible with ALIVE? any known conflicts with mods or other scripts? * fixed, init line had a typo

  9. Hello, I'm creating a script for one of my missions that randomly calls in an enemy HVT. I have figured out how to call in one of the Aggressor units "CAF_AG_ME_T_AK74" as my HVT but he appearance is a bit too similar to the other fighters on the map. I want to make him stand out by dressing him slightly different but not sure how to go about doing it even after googling around. This is how I'm currently calling in the HVT: (of course there is more to the script but here is the specific to calling in the unit) _off = createGroup EAST; officer1 = _off createUnit ["CAF_AG_ME_T_AK74",[(getMarkerpos _markerCO select 0) + 1, getMarkerpos _markerCO select 1,0], [], 0, "NONE"]; Is there a way to call in this unit but adding sunglasses, helmet, ect using the correct classname to that piece of gear? Thanks

  11. Looks great! I especially like the random task system. I got a few questions about the mission as well. 1. Are the task locations random or are they determined by markers within the editor? 2. Is there a way to lower the amount of IEDs within EDP? I have used EDP a bit in the past and always saw an option to lower the amount of IEDs present but not seeing it within your mission. Also are IEDs persistent on an Alive server or are they random every time the server restarts? Thanks and take care!

    I've been using the civies with EOS. I have had no problems with them spawning in their undies. You do have the African Conflict mod activated correct?
  15. I've been able to find the PDF file that contains classnames to the weapons, attachments, clothing, vehicles, ect but have not been able to find the classnames for units ie machinegunner, grenedier, ect. I'm trying to have CAF work in an a.i. recruit script.

  17. Is it possible to use the Chinook 147 from the Canadian Armed Forces mod in the same role as the Mohawk? I've fooled around with the classname in the igiload file but I may be doing something incorrect.

    If they fixed some of the simple problems with High Command it could happen easily. Instead of fixing something like not being able to load an infantry squad into an APC in High Command. they decided to make Zues which has pretty much already been done with Shay's MCC Sandbox.
  22. Anyone know what VVS file I could alter to force vehicles I spawn in to have a line in their initilization field? I was wanting to use the new igiload logistic script along with vehicles I spawn in with VVS.

    Afghans don't speak Arabic nor Farsi. Afghans would seriously understand English better than those. Dari and Pashto, with Pashto being more of the class level where most fighters would come out of.

    Any way we could get the classnames for the clothing items on these units? I'm trying to make a HVT for an ALIVE mission and want to dress him a certain way to make him easy to identify.
