    1st Regiment Altis Armed Forces

    We are an ARMA 3 milsim unit. We do our very best to simulate a real-world operational tempo. We strive to keep a fun environment while at the same time maintaining a professional atmosphere. If you are looking for a relaxed milsim group, you’ve come to the right place.
     
    About Us:

        We’re a semi realistic unit looking to give a professional representation of the Altis Armed Forces set in 2017 (highly built around the Altis Armed Forces 2017 mod by fingolfin). Our ops are highly immersive zeus campaigns centered around an Altis civil war set in 2017. We have a detailed background by the original mod author that helps us develop the world our unit is placed in. Our campaigns will continually develop based on player base decisions made ingame .We strive to be a unit that isn't done everyday, we strive to be different and unforgettable. We have plans on joint ops with other units not only as allies but also as opfor. The unit command staff is comprised of current and prior US service members. All are highly welcome.

    LT Kretchen, Platoon Commander of 1RGT/1CO/1PLT "Ares", carries SrA R. Matz from the 26th STS to safety after an RPG wounded several members of the PJ/CCT team. Despite the loss of town Altisian UN Peacekeepers and many wounded, the mission was a success with both pilots being recovered and evacuated. 7/21/18

    So I was checking out the IDAP showcase when I found something interesting. When you walk into the showcase area and go left to the tent that has information about IDAP and UXOs, there's about four stands with "Survivor Stories". At the back right of the tent one of the stories talks about a man who had an encountered UXOs from a civil war in the fictional African Nation of Lombakka. I tried to look up anything on it and there's not even a region in Africa my that name.

    You guys would have a great career as strippers. Never before have I seen someone so good at teasing it's audience. I suppose it wouldn't be that bad if you guys didn't make such amazing content. I have been checking this topic religiously every day since the release of Escalation. I swear you guys are gonna be the reason I snap.

    Here's a suggestion. How about using RHS GREF and have the Chernorussians represent AAF. National Guard troops would be found in towns and resources/power plants and regular military guarding bases/outposts/check points. Airborne troops could represent Special Forces. Russian VDV could represent CSAT.
