  1. Im pretty sure I named it right, it was only when i started adding the CPL pilot,crew player names that it went all finicky. the admin slots worked fine (i think). The main issue was that if they werent on the list they still had access to everything.

  3. Bugs we found on yesterdays playthrough. both ace and non ace. Patrolling squads have a tendancy to respawn after making contact. They will be in a prone position then all of the sudden be standing up / respawned to their original position. The text file was giving me a hard time when I tried to add a bunch of us into it (stopped at init. player rights i think its called). It also seemed to have no bearing on who can do what. If they weren't on it, they still could access what they wanted. ------ thats all I can remember right now sorry suggestions We loaded up a bunch of things into a conex box and also into a heli at one point and it was shot down while in transit. What are the respawn times when something like that happens. I read something about 2 to 8 hours which seems waaay too long for a public game. More parameters ie. time of day, respawn times and so on. This is mission specific I realize. ------------ Cant wait to see more missions built around this, keep up the good work.

  5. Honestly I have no clue how to implement sql into an arma server. I don't beleive its possible without some serious toying with the engine. I may be mistaken tho.

  7. I can assure you the work wont go un noticed. We have plenty of Arma players who welcome new things / missions. Just the saving your progress alone ( even tho its the hacked non sql way) is a major selling point for most armarpg players. Keep up the good work!
  8. The only one I have with r3f has some semi serious vehicle respawn issues, also the r3f things like mortar and arty cannons respawn instantly once outside of base. Also it is based off the .70 version of r3f which has many issues fixed with .72 So TL;DR I want it also
  9. ASSHOLE team!! first we let a drunk pubby fly us to the AO, shot down with 12 guys. Then we let the 1sgt fly, shot down with 12 guys. Then we let the 1LT fly, shot down again but we landed safely. we never really recovered from those first 2:j:

I might suggest they have to be a certain distance from the cache before they can blow it up with rockets or what not. or put barriers or (give defenders the option to build) around the caches preventing direct long distance shots. or hide them in buildings where possible. edit: I would also go with the 50 meter radius idea
  11. For me I have to go into documents/ arma 2 oa / your profile / mpmissions. Im not exactly sure what your saying but, everyone has a "lite version" of the dlc. As far as I know the only way to get the weapons you selected is to start the mission and if you want just vote to quit right after, not ideal but it works. Teamspeak, experience, teamplay, planning etc etc. its a complicated subject in all honestly and everyone gets to the solution a different way. 1st answer hopefully resolved this one
  12. try just going to the multiplayer server list and hitting new at the bottom, make sure it isnt set for a lan game and change the name to what you want. after that start it up. your friend should be able to find it by name. Ive had 8 people (max) on my home connection and the same pc with pings on average of 200 with little to no issues. Just dont try and run something like domination or evolution and you should be fine.
  13. Ill upload the newer version to the server tonight, but i didnt see a fix yet for the invincible soldier.... We tried to recreate it but couldnt figure out how it kept happening... I was and engineer, another guy was medic with just 2 of us on the server. We got our asses handed 2 us on the 2nd mission and he was reviving himself to save us time, eventually we both became un-killable as in when we were shot it didnt hurt at all. The only addons I am using are stmovement and acex_sm

    A&D 20 Hold Villa [OA]

    I was wonder if it would be possible to make this in the way that your Vanilla Dm's are, but instead of a time based move to the next zone, make it if won or lost it'll move to the next zone. I'll stick the new version on the server when i get home and hopefully be able to get a good test of it going.

Do they change? edit edit edit: found one i forgot about. the r3f laptop is on the ground it also seems to move occasionally sorta like the two soldiers in the talking action right near it

    Hacking is getting worse

    The server issue was fixed with a reinstall of BE on the server (bad timing huh). After that I connected using the BE pass and everything seems to work great. The kills/ deaths dont show properly but everything else works fine. I did leave it running over night and when I came back in the morning it wasnt fully showing the proper list of players but a quick restarting of the rcon tool fixed that.
  21. bugs we found that I remember from yesterdays playthrough: One of our guys became invincible for quite some time, he only realized it when a zu started bouncing him around the battlefield and he didnt die. (i was wondering how he stayed alive thru some of the situatuations we found ourselves in :P) The teamkiller warning trumpet has to go please, it is HIGHLY annoying and i had to kick a few people for accidental tks just to make it quit. Just the little pop up text is plenty of shame for them IMO. The IED sound also is pretty annoying and I'm not sure where this comes from to use that in the first place. An ied is supposed to be a suprise so having a sound by one hurts the experience and is a bit confusing to new guys. Also on the IEd thing, which Ied script are you guys using, is it the one where the engineer has to crawl up to it to deactivate it? We had one right beside one of the mh6's to be rescued only to fail the mission when the engi crawled up to the ied and it exploded. He said a very very quick menu came up with a timer then the explosion. He possibly did it wrong tho so no biggie. I'll report back with more as i remember / find them. This is an excellent mission that is very well made. The base alone is sooo sexy besides the one tower I metioned at the heli pads. Keep up the good work! Also if we steal enemy weapons, a.k.a. mortar tubes from them will they be cleaned up and or dissapear if we put them in boxes or vehicles?
  22. I would suggest taking the tower/s out of the main base or mainly just the one at the heli landing zones.

    GITS Evolution for Arrowhead

    Just uploaded it to the server. unfortunately insurgency is on demand all the time right now.. Are the side missions working correctly now? If so is there a way to link missions between all the guys working with you?
