    Offering:

    Equipment: Fully equipped with quality microphone, G13, gamepad for flying, face tracking for looking around and voice recognition software for giving orders.

    Experience: Enough in both the gaming aspect itself as well as working in military oriented groups to play with any gamer out there.

    Payment: Willing to do my fair share of the costs but have no problem with some people in our group not being able to meet this requirement and covering their gap.

    Modders/mission makers in the group is a big plus, and I've got no problem if this adds to the monthly costs.

    Software: All of the Arma 2 variants and heavily modded, but installed friendly for easy disabling/enabling.

    Looking for:

    Any highly active group that plays in a semi realistic military setting. Not looking for being kicked out for missing something here and there, but also not want a group where it takes 3 days to get a game going even though there's 10 people available but playing different games all in their own channel on our chat server. We play Arma 2 and when we play we're trying to be as efficient as possible and keep the nonsense about your soccermatch, Katie Perry's boobies and general bullshit to a minimum, till after we're done playing. Optimal would be a group with a persistent server running 24/7 open to public but an option for group only missions when we've got numbers/ a special operation made especially for us (whatever numbers).

    Willing to play any role required, from just running ammo and rockets to our guys to leading an entire operation.

    Right, when you buy a car, a mobile phone, an mp3 player or whatever and it doesn't work properly and you're told you can't get your money back, but you can buy an upgrade (or 2) which will ensure your product will work as promised but it STILL doesn't and you take your product back to the store to ask an employee what's up, but at the store the employees are behind closed doors and all you can do is sign up and leave your complaint on some notice board so you do, is called "trolling" in your world?

    Title says it all as the rules say it should?

    Got Arma 2/OA/PMC installed, but when trying to run Combined Arms I get the message as in my title.

    Getting a little pissed off, as Arma 2 has never worked properly, and even though expansions/DLC's (and the patches that come with them) promise to fix things, they only get worse/ they don't even work at all. After waiting for (let's blame them for it) Steam to fix the PMC DLC from not even being activated to now it still not working is just too much.

    Especially since the gaming industry still is somehow untouchable from the most basic consumer rights of actually getting what you pay for, or getting your money back. (Strange how companies can sue eachother over the smallest pieces of "stolen" code when employees swap jobs, but selling false/broken feature lists to consumers is completely legit as long as you can prove it's in, but bugged with an airey promise of fixing it.)

    I don't want to hear how I'm supposed to delete everything and during reinstall copy files left and right while I'm running shit as admin and changing .cfg files to get it all to work. I shelled out over 80 bucks for this softwarepackage and it needs to $^#@^% work.

    Just letting you know this is the problem causing me to stop playing, as this wasn't yet among the many problems posted here. Have fun, the second they change laws I'm coming for my money.
