I recently installed ARMA 2 Free onto a flash drive that I am planning to take with me when I go to my dad's house away from my gaming computer and have a weaker computer. Will it work if I run ARMA 2 Free off of my flash drive at my dad's house only to access the editor and make some missions?

So would it be possible if I make some kinda .reg file and run that before starting up the game via the flash drive to get some registry files on the computer, would it work then? Basically exporting a .reg file over to my flashdrive, and then run that before running ARMA 2 Free, will that work?

I remember sunken dragon got a rose style menu. Rose style menus are easier to navigate and micromanage AIs than the current ARMA 2 menu. I find it way too slow during hot heated combat and firefights to use the current ARMA's menu. The SWAT 4 menus I also like a lot as well, I probably prefer the SWAT 4 one.

Driving around in a Warrior blowing up some armored vehicles and such. Sorry for the annoying background sound, I turned up my mic so people can actually hear me but background noises can now also interfere with recordings. I'll assign a push to record button FRAPs next time so it'll only record my voice when I use TS3. (I don't notice the background noise much unless the tank's engine is off). nUoojm0h9CA&feature=plcp

Having a little problem trying to edit in the editor. I keep getting these missing ibr_lcivilians errors when I'm trying to place lingor OPFOR units. EDITED: Ahh sorry, never mind, found the problem. Forgot to enable @Ibr_Civilians since I got it off SixUpdater. -
How many AIs are you thinking of o_O you can support them right? Would be pretty CPU intensive.

I've tried GlovePie after I found this old thread http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?126806-GlovePIE-speech-recognition-script-for-Arma2 Works pretty good for me until I turned up my mic because no one could hear me on TeamSpeak 3. I'll try it again later on, but from the video that guy did it worked really good. -
I don't like how you can move quicker.... Encourages more run/gun . Realism mode in a realistic game, ehhh, then that would make it a bit more arcadey by default, doesn't look as promising as Takedown or Ground Branch were but Ground Branch looks like the most promising so far to me because they aren't got some work done. Too bad they didn't make it on the kickstarter :(

A joystick suitable for Arma 2/Arma 3?

I use XBOX 360 controller for flying helicopters and flying vehicles. Works out pretty well. -
Well, the 3D editor benefits would be as you stated maturin. Waypoints, triggers, and markers to be are better in the 2D editor. As for precise and quick unit placements, 3D editor would be better for interior placements or stacking a bunch of crates together to create a fort. There is also another way to place units in interiors by finding the position you are standing but it is more a hassle than a quick 3D. Of course the 3D editor isn't the most necessary thing, but it is nice to have for convenience. As for stacking up blocks or making large mazes, the current 3D editor in ARMA 2 can do the job pretty well by doing all of the empty objects first then converting it to 2D and doing the rest there. A 3D placement tool for placing prefabbed items would be excellent.

I prefer Battleye over the other anti cheats. VAC is probably my second though I have heard there's no such appeals for VAC bans (which I thought was dumb when some dudes got banned for modding their Dead Island games) but that haven't happened to me. Punkbuster was horrible to me, I remember playing America's Army 2 and I would get PB kick out just because my game was alt tab for a bit and I came back in. -
I rather have ARMA as the flagship than DayZ. Its easier to mod and make more out of a simulator than a zombie game. Just as you have said Mattressi, there's so much more you can make out of ARMA. It may be a military sim engine and a more tactical game, but because there's commands in the editor that make it possible for me, if I felt like it, I can make some kind of run and gun crazy rambo missions. It's so flexible. Now trying to make a tactical mil-sim shooter from a zombie game? That's way harder and much more time consuming to do. I hope all goes well for ARMA 3, so far from the videos I've seen, it looks like a jewel, I'd like to see the open Alpha for myself and hope that ARMA 3 has a bright future ahead for it. Of course the mainstream favors DayZ, but the long time fans, true fans, first fans, and niche tactical shooter fans that BIS created ARMA for the first place will always remember ARMA.

Hmm, a mod that seems STALKER like to me was Namalsk Crisis. The island looks STALKER-ish and the campaign too, but anyways, congrats to Rocket and BIS and I'll be looking forward to ARMA 3 :D -
A history toolbar like in photoshop would be nice and an easy method to place units inside buildings would also be nice. Waypoint across buildings too would be nice. Well, so far for building placements, I just preview the mission, go in game, and have a trigger in radio that makes me to this to find the buildings position of where I'm standing to give it to the unit I want to start inside a building copyToClipboard format ["this setPosATL %1;this setDir %2;",getPosATL player, getDir player];

Mission played as Spetsnaz moving towards an airport to destroy a prototype plane (credits to Variable for a successful long range RPG shot at the plane and Nouty for sniping the pilot at the end) TFY5_7gtMUA&feature=plcp Le Port Beams, a CWR2 mission by Sanders. The navigation in the beginning was a bad navigation and we landed in the wrong spot from where we wanted but it ended up as a good thing when it got changed up into a hit and run manuever. Lots of firefights around the lighthouse. TuPUiRbkBK8&feature=plcp

Mission Pack A2F & ACE updated to 1.11 - Removed Mechanized Infantry scripts from Vyshie Coverfire. It was causing massive desync issue and it wasn't optimized for MP - Remove protect the boss in Vyshnoye from Vyshie Coverfire. He is going to die an inevitable death anyways (mainly from friendly fire grenades)

I just played with my buddy maverick with just 2 players really quick. I'm wondering on wait until morning... do we have to wait until morning from 1:00 to whatever time morning comes up or... did we happen to miss something in the building. I like the radiation level, and exchanging health and Rad-X. Well, my friend kind of prefer it if the radiation meter looks a bit more different. I'm ok with the meter though, not much of a bother though. Overall, I like it, I got to show my real life friends this though, they love zombie stuff :D . -Yeah, looks like we missed something alright from the looks of the screenshot, but we weren't having too much times on hand so we did a quick one :P . Keep up the missions though. -

I like it. Especially when it gets spooky with bloodsuckers :P . I'll try to find some guys to play it with when I can but it may be a bit harder than vanilla for me ;P -
Problem found with Vyshie Coverfire. Unfortunately, the mechanized infantry tactics script was causing large large desyncs that it became unplayable. I'll release a bug fix as soon as possible to remove that script to fix the issue.

A2F Mission Pack has been updated to 1.1 -Added 1 new mission CO 02 Vyshie Coverfire. -The HVT in Bloody Lake not spawning in one of the 3 random position is now fixed. Before he would always spawn in the closest area all the time. Now there is a 33% probability that he will spawn in one of the 3 position. -The extraction time in Drugs Confiscation had been reduced from 3 minutes of sitting in a helo to 30 seconds CO Mission Pack has been updated to 1.1 -Added 2 new missions CO 04 Zargabad Genocide and CO 10 Flash of the Blade Feruz ACE Mission Pack has been updated to 1.1 -Added 3 new missions ACE CO 02 Vyshie Coverfire, ACE CO 04 Zargabad Genocide, and ACE CO 10 Flash of the Blade Feruz -The HVT in Bloody Lake not spawning in one of the 3 random position is now fixed. Now there is a 33% probability that he will spawn in one of the 3 position. -The extraction time in Drugs Confiscation had been reduced from 3 minutes of sitting in a helo to 30 seconds DISCLAIMER & WARNING: Zargabad Genocide will require a very very powerful computer to run. Many many AIs in this mission and civilians being slaughtered here and there. Many things will be exploding and light on fire as you try to escape Zargabad. Flash of the Blade Feruz sometimes may had a little issue where you teleport to the hostage and instant free him from captivity (it happened once or twice during my testings) but it doesn't happen too often. Restarting can sometimes be the fix to that. I doubt it's me, but it could be the script I got off armaholic, but I don't know at the moment. Vyshie Coverfire hasn't been tested through the whole way.
