    Health Regen script.

    If you're planning to add health regen in Namalsk Crisis campaign. First you're going to need pboview to depbo the campaign. Then throw the script inside each mission folder and do a nul = player execVM "regen.sqf"; in the init.sqf or each player's init. After that you're going to need cpbo to put the files and folder back into pbo format. One of my zombie mission I made for a zombie mission pack (I barely released today, the mission where you play as bloodsuckers) uses health regen and I'm pretty sure you got the script from Dead3yeZ here if I'm correct. http://www.armaholic.com/forums.php?m=posts&p=128532 In the @NC folder, there should be a file called ns_missions.pbo. Go to campaigns -> and extract those files out and edit them up. Just put the script in each mission folder and paste the code into the init.sqf . If you do modify, might as well resave it to another version and call it "Health Regen Version"
  3. I can go both ways. Usually for regular coop missions, addon-free because its easier for me to find people to play with, but then at the same time I do like addon enabled missions but don't overcrowd the addons. Keep it kind of universal if you know what I mean, like addons that people tend to use a lot or just a custom island. For example, addon missions that I wouldn't mind would be with Lingor and Lingor Units. Now if its Lingor Island + Lingor Units + <Insert a bunch of unit and weapon addons here>, then that'll be a problem. If its a campaign or singleplayer mission, use all the addons you want, MP is the main issue because not everyone wants to dl too much addons, so I prefer to keep it universal if the addons are required.

    I got a few missions on my pack. Vyshie Coverfire you play as 2 guerilla snipers defending Vyshnoye from oncoming Chedaki attack and then you assist in taking the time. Bloody Lake you play as 2 civilians and you got to snipe out the general with a hunting rifle. I got another one in Namalsk where you play as 2 guerilla sniper again (Fight of the Mill) where you got to defend the Old lumber mill from oncoming NAC attacks. You can play the more than 2 player version for Vyshie Coverfire and Fight of the Mill if you want to play as the regular defenders that aren't the sniper as well for the more than 2 player coop versions. I think some of Vanha's missions got some pretty good guerilla missions as well.
  5. I remember seeing a zombie mod for BF2. But its just those simple mod where it just throws in practically "unarmed guys with knives" coming at you and you just kill them.

    USA Politics Thread - *No gun debate*

    Unfortunately, when people discuss politics, it can often lead to a bunch of raging and bickering depending on how hardcore the other person is. Yeah, I'm in the US myself, but I don't like to discuss politics, especially with a bunch of extremists hard to their firms. Politics, like religion, is a very controversial. Media sources can be very bias as well. Some media leans more on one side than the other so you can't always trust your sources either. Now, when a bunch of people start not agreeing, some people can go on with a friendly conversation but in most cases, some are much more sensitive of it and it starts to getting to a "I'M RIGHT!! YOU'RE WRONG!! I'M SMART!! YOU'RE STUPID!!" argument type of situation. When controversies start pouring into the topics, it often make the situation worsen as well. There are also things that I'll say I find quite offensive about the topic of "new culture endangering American dream". Actually no, cultures develop and change over time. What I find sucks is for those of the people who cannot adapt. No one speaks in those old languages and dress in those old school clothing nowadays anymore. Coming from a family of immigrants who can adapt to new culture and are willing to accept other cultures, new culture is not what poison the US but its what shapes it. As for everyone's opinion, to his his own, I don't care whether people agree or disagree with me or not, but I'll be out of this. Politics gets too subjective, unlike mathematics :/ Politics is #2 on the dispute list. Religion would be #1 if I remember correctly. 2 both highly sensitive subjects to talk about.

    I got 2 2 player missions in my ARMA 2 Free Pack, 1 in my custom pack and an ACE version as well if you want to use ACE. Links in my siggy. Scud Sabotage, my 4 player mission should be fine for 2 as well (if you're lucky to get an easy spawn for the SCUD, its randomized). Find all the missions with co02 on it, those are 2 player coop and missiosn are in numerical order from lowest number player coop to highest.

    As soon as I get up from the shore, I kill the first two guys. Take a sneak around the right side and hug the edge of the water I think if I remember last time I played.

    Custom Pack and Custom ACE Pack updated to 1.3 Added 2 new missions for Namalsk. Fight of the Mill and Fight of the Mill 2. One is a 2 player version and the other is a 10 player version and enemies come from 2 areas instead of just 1. Like in Vyshie Coverfire, you hold off waves of incoming enemies then you take out the army base but you got no reinforcement on this one.

    There's some lists out there but doesn't list all sorts of missions. Depends on whoever made the list and what kind of missions fit their interest and what it's mainly judging. You can filter some up on armaholic but even then finding all that you may want to find can still be a bit of a hassle, but easier than OFP Gamepark imo.     Arma 3 is not going far enough with Technology

    It's not the far into the future so it'll just be using prototype weapons that are already created now, not some crazy sci-fi Ghost cloak suit or giant clumsy walkers that will fall over a cliff or rock, or rover with lazors all over them. A little into the future isn't too bad. War will still be done by men, probably there will just be a few extra drones and unmanned vehicle. I wouldn't mind seeing an unmanned air vehicle.

    I'd say someone should make some good old fashion no revive/respawn missions on Namalsk. It's as pretty nice island. Either ACE or vanilla would be fine :) . I'll probably work on a few myself.

    I feel the same way with ARMA 3. It can take as long as it needs to take. Well, I feel that way to many video games. I don't tend to be in a rush to want anything. I can enjoy ARMA 2 for a long long time, many addons to go, many missions to play, many more missions that I see of different diversity to make, its endless :P .

  20. Just wondering, but do their DLCs come with lite versions like ARMA for people who don't own the DLC for Iron Front to play with people who do own it?
  21. What I would like about knives are that it will add more diversity for addons to make use of. I can see the ARMA 2 Medieval Warfare mod at the moment, but it would be much easier if melee weapons were included from start.
  22. Loving the city and all, but I'm having one issue. For some reason if I go to the police station or look at it, my screen will eventually artifact like crazy. Don't know if its just me or not but I placed a unit in the editor at the police station as myself to see and after driving around with the motorcycle, I see a lot of artifacting. Every other spot seems fine so far.

    A2F Pack updated to 1.31 ACE Pack updated to 1.41 Just a minor addition to Vyshie coverfire (hopefully you'll like this one Soldia, tell me how you think of it :D and how it goes) NAPA reinforcements will now proceed after Vyshnoye is clear but then they will wait until you radio them in instead of rush in and clear everything.

    You say you needed some breaching equipment script so here's a handy script I found over at armaholic. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=18090 Its a breaching script that autoclose door and you can open them by shooting them with a shotgun like breaching shotguns. If you use ACE u can also stick a c4 or satchel on the door and blow it open. If you dont hsve ACE its still fine, you can still use breachijg shotguns
  25. I can manually place AIs in buildings for ARMA no problem. Adding some flashbangs, CS gas, and gasmasks may help with CQB (like those in ACE). I'd also like to see a feature like this breaching script right here to improve CQB. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=18090 Now its not always just gotta be the AIs but the way you handle making entries on buildings and movements as well. The stances will help.
