I hope to see North Korea as a CFP faction some day. They could use the chinese voices, close enough IMHO. CUP has most of the russian gear to cover them I think.

Silly idea and I have no clue if it would work IR: would it be possible to pass the targeting data from crafts with ARS down to ground missile batter and have that fire ARMs? -
The national flags in the editor are perfectly fine. However for the in-mission map screen I think that a square NATO symbols you can color would be much more useful. That is something missing from the vanilla. I say square because if you were to add every variation, you would have 3 nearly identical sets of markers clogging up the dropdown. I think just having the square (INDFOR) version and making it possible to color using the color dropdown would be the enough.

Suggestion: instead of the national flags markers give us the NATO markers for infantry, armor, etc. Those will be MUCH more useful. @Siege-A BTW: there is no scroll bar for the marker dropdown in the map screen. This means I have to manually scroll down through all those national flags if I want to mark some enemy positions.

Its just depends on if they had NVGs given to them in their equipment config. If its just for your own team, just have a box full of NVGs and have units that are missing them take a pair.

Hey, glad to see hetman still being worked on. One thing I was always missing from Hetman is the control over attack planes and helicopters. It would be nice if HAL used them in even the most basic manner by ordering them to loiter somewhere away and then call them in to strike targets or just on general Search and Destroy where thy can just fly around and be a nuisance. -
Good news everyone! All of the uniforms now have working, detailed thermals. No more OP thermal camo for everything pre OA . This also includes civilian clothes as well. Its not perfect, but its better than not having thermals at all.

I feel that the "Western Ultranationalist" faction would work better as an INDFOR faction rather than OPFOR. This way they can act as a local militia for Red Dawn style of missions as well as insurgents against BLUFOR if needed. Also you could add the MD-500 helicopter and Cesna plane from syndicate to the WU to add a bit more for them. Also they should speak english rather than russian, I think.

A small teaser of two new T-55 skins: a generic olive paintjob and Chedaki camo. Both NAPA and Chedaki get new T-55 tanks. NAPA uses the generic olive camo, while Chedaki use their own.

I wouldn't able to code my way out of a paper bag, so I'll pass on that one. Also if you use the increased movement speed optional addon, then everyone get the speed boost, not just players. In fact everything in this mod applies to both player and AI as both use the same animations.

I also made a NAPA recolor of the T-55. It turned out to look absolutely generic. I think CFP folks will like this one as the new recolor might fit multiple factions.

I didn't touch the swimming portion (except for the script that makes all the animations faster). However that is not hard to do, you just need to get the animation names from the config and well, increase the speed.

UPDATE! v4 - current version * I added a new inbetween animation for crouched movement with weapon up, in order to fix the massive jerking you experience when going from side to side. * edited the weapon up running (not tactical pace) so it still shows the crosshairs, just something I found annoying. Now that stance has a reason to exist. * added an OPTIONAL XEH script that increases the animation speed by 12.5% The addon is in the Optional folder. BTW: CFP folks, I'm currently fixing the thermal textures for pretty much all of the CUP uniforms This will also fix stuff on some your models as well, as they share rvmats (russian uniforms and possibly other).

T-72 is pretty close in looks to T-64, maybe it could be a stand in.

Until ISIS radio protocol is composed entirely out of "Derka Derka Mohamed Allah Akbar Jihad" (in any and all combinations), I will be sorely disappointed .

In the Western Ultranationalists almost all of the units get reported as an "Officer" in voice lines. Not sure how prevalent it is for other factions. Its just the units' config thing though. EDIT: You can change the radio reporting name by editing: textPlural textSingular

Another tip for the uniform textures: some of them look pretty flat. Personally I used clouds and noise textures as an overlay to make my uniform look a bit more natural, add a bit of depth to it. Along with the normal map, AO map and cavity map overlays as well.

Just a note, on some of the multicam uniforms (CIA paramilitary) the camo pattern is going vertical instead of horizontal. Especially noticeable on legs. EDIT: I figured out the reason for that: that upper leg texture in lower left corner of the NATO uniform is actually used for the left upper leg. However it is rotated 90 deg counter clockwise and mirrored to the whole leg texture.

Its one thing to have a lot stuff, its another to have that stuff be in a way. I love the idea of having loads of factions to play around with. Having multitude of flag markers you can place on the map in the editor is cool. The flags can have their own category and are not interfering when you play the game. Now, being able to place a Zimbabwe flag onto the map during a mission... that does not strike me as something terribly useful, especially if those flag clutter a marker list you need for other stuff.

In middle of a fight when you want to mark enemy positions having to scroll down through crapload of useless flag markers is annoying. Maybe just leave the flag markers for editor only. Or if you really want them for some reason, then rename the vanilla markers so they show up first.

Couple of suggestions: * Could you remove the national flags from the markers you can place on the map during the mission? They clutter the marker selection really badly * Add missing vehicles from normal NATO faction to the Pacific NATO, talking mostly about helicopters, planes etc.
