Imagine this: frigate descends through the atmosphere from orbit with reentry effects and flies over you, great setpiece scene. -

As for D77 flight model. The coming patch will really polish it out, I can say that it will be quick, good yaw rotation at low speeds. However it does feels a bit sluggish in bank turns (not bathtub-filled-with-bricks sluggish like it was before though). I think it captures the feeling of flying something big and heavy, but with loads of power behind it. -

I think it would be possible to attach "target" thingy (similar to the one created by laser designator) to HEV. No, I dont know how to do that. -

Well my medic kinda let me bleed out right in front of him so yeah. Anyway, continuing the AI talk: I think that all of the AI in cargo should fastrope along with you. Also as a pilot the fastrope action should be replaced with action that forces fastrope action on all AI's in cargo. After all why would pilot fastrope and then have his chopper drop down on his head? -

Well the standard NVG fov fix works for implants too. However I do think that implants shouldnt have that black stuff by default. -

Is there any way to get an AI medic to heal me? I tried ordering one, but he did nothing and I bled to death. I shouldnt even need to order him, he should heal everybody by himself IMHO. -

BTW: I was doing some clearing in a small village and man, 8 gauge is really no joke in such situations. 4 shots, 5 dead guys. Thermal goggles are not possible to create due to hardcoded issues. In their infinite wisdom BIS decided that nvg type of items will not respect the fact you tell them to display thermal vision. Random idea: guys with neural implants should have eyes that glow when you look at them in NVG mode, just because. -

Couple of requests: Player Multispawn module: add ability to manually set insertion vehicle, like support modules. Player Combat Support: add ability to turn off map textures on the minimap. -

While you guys are at fixing ODST models: could you make sure that you can mix and match marines and ODST vests, uniforms and helmets without problems with clipping? -

Just caught this moment when I was testing my homebrew MSO. AI pretty capable in using D77 now, it managed to put me and my squad on a very slim mountain ridge, while under fire. Ill be testing Warthog now, I must say that right from the get go I dont like how unresponsive it is. That thing is just frame with engine and wheels, it should be more snippy IMHO. Ill toy around with the values and see what I will end up with. -

I thinking more about the DARPA ammunition from Ghost Recon Future Soldier. Could have a nice dynamic with the spotter equipped with a Laser Designator, even if sniper is AI (you just order him to hold fire and then to lock onto your laser pointer). -

Meh, I just gave my BLUFOR soldiers MX with 100rnd magazines as standard + sound from M41 Pulse Rifle. Works well, sounds good and it supports all of the attachments. Want to do something cool? How about laser guided Sniper Rifle ammo? -

Im pretty sure it would be able to withstand the pressure as the uniform does double as a (light) environment suit with means it should be able to withstand more extreme weather conditions and such. I think this is a must for an army that would operate on planets other then earth and earth-like. It has to be environment suit as its vacuum capable and you dont want to expose any body parts to the vacuum even if you wear the right helmet. BTW: I did some experiments with D77 and I can say that the lowest bodyFrictionCoef I was able to set without the lift issue was: bodyFrictionCoef = 0.6777; With this AI can fly over water (or something flat) at about 215~220 KM/h, I think its something like 50% faster then with default values. bodyFrictionCoef = 0.8777; was very much safe. Still some more testing may be needed. -

Thanks, I have a question: what does the agm_switchunits.pbo do? Also I have a request for an option to disable the color filter from goggles. I like the idea of dust kicked up, but color correction is something that annoys me. EDIT: I have edited the goggles to remove the tint, dirt and stuff still works, so overall its a win. Another idea: handgestures for normal orders. -

AGM_core disables 1-0 keys making it impossible to order my troops without changing the keybinds. Is there any way for me to restore those keys and still be able to use AGM (without weapons or grenade select). -

Yeah, but what about a special backpack with stream jet propulsion? Just an idea, I mean, USNC must have some equipment that functions in aquatic environment. I think that the uniform would actually made you float since its vacuum sealed, also since it doubles as an environment suit it wouldnt actually let through any water in. Still, it should double as a rebreather/diving goggles.
