If Clarkson did one, May and Hammond should do ones too. :)

Lights still goes throught walls!!! Same as in Arma III
concurssi replied to VooDooCZ's topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Oh really, you think this is the most pressing issue right at the moment? -
I doubt it's a bug, more likely that it's intentional.
-
weird graphics (screenshot inside). What setting to get rid of it?
concurssi replied to verstand3n's topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Heh, that was my thought too. :D It's the future, dude! Cloaking is a thing now. -
A lot of this should still be mostly relevant. Dslyecxi has said that he'll release a third version of that at some point though.

Quick question! Where are the supporter badges we were promised?
concurssi replied to Feffez's topic in ARMA 3 - BETA DISCUSSION
Later. Read the rules and search before you make a new thread. -
Pretty much this, I suppose: Also

I think I want a refund now :D
-
Oh god, please no. Don't let the taint of oscar mike touch this game.
-
Pretty much this. This thread stinks like a weeing contest about who cares the least about their spot in the credits. You don't care about it, that's cool, but why bring it to everyone's attention?

You can tweak it with the config file that comes with it. There are settings for activation range and such in there.

!Beta Troubleshooting, Tips, FAQs
concurssi replied to Dwarden's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - BETA PATCH TESTING
If I do that the game says it's running 95248, not 99202. e: I've figured out the problem: you can't set a "start in" path in batch files (or if you can, please let me know how). This is inconvenient, because now I have to start combining my mod folders so I can fit everything into the shortcut target path, which can make mod management tricky. -

If I try to run the game from a batch file, like I always do, like this: START "ArmA 2" "D:\Pelit\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion; -nosplash -exThreads=7 It works. However, if I try to use mods, and do it like this: START "ArmA 2" "D:\Pelit\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion; -nosplash -exThreads=7 -mod=ACR;@CBA;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA;@JTD;@JSRS1.4;@ASR_AI;@Blastcore_Tracers;@Blastcore_Visuals_R1.2;@STmods;@TPW_AI_LOS;@TPWC_AI_SUPPRESS; I get a "No entry .cfgworlds" or something like that when itry to start the game. Same happens if, instead of pointing at the executable in the Expansion\beta folder, I do it with the one in the main program folder. Same also happens if I try to append the -beta=<stuff> into the modline. What am I doing wrong? E: derp. If I do it with the main executable, it runs but it doesn't use the beta. -
You got me all interested, so I went looking around for TPWAC and TPWAC_LOS. The only relevant thing to come up on google was the TPWC AI Supression system. Is that the same thing? Also, while I'm here, I remember a while back someone asked in this thread what they should set their AI skill settings to for the optimal experience. That was ages ago, and it would be quite a chore to try and dig out the answer from all these pages, so would anyone happen to have any suggestions for this? E: durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr As soon as I posted that I went to the first post and found the link to the suggested difficulty settings. Thanks ;)

Are the other ArmA titles banned in Iran as well? Or are they just so butthurt about being a faction in ArmA 3 that they'd ban only that? I read a book once which said that the Taleban banned all books, music, movies and games from the west in Afghanistan. I didn't think of this before, but I kind of expected Iran to have done the same already, but if they're banning single titles, then I guess they actually have video games there? Woah, my world just got rocked :-o

What part of that is (allegedly) mod content?
-
I gotta ask, who's this?
-
If you don't know how to check it, you probably haven't turned it off in the first place. I suggest you google how to turn it off (I have a different language version, so I couldn't accurately tell you where to find the setting), if you're interested in that. Otherwise, you're probably gonna want to always run Steam as admin (right-click on the Steam shortcut, go into the compatibility tab and check "Run as administrator", if you didn't already know). As for why you can't play with ACR, I don't really know if running as admin hasn't sorted it out.
-
So do you have UAC turned off? If not, try running Steam as admin. Might fix it.
-
Do you hae UAC in Windows turned off? If not, are you running Steam as administrator? Seems to be a common problem. And just to be sure, you do have ArmA 2 CO from Steam as well, right?
-
I've only played MGS 1-4, what have I missed out on?
-
They could probably buy VBS, make an Iran-addon and train their soldiers with that :)
-
I haven't even played OFP, and I thought this was hilarious :D
-
Why on earth do I need to add the ACR folder to my modline if I'm using mods or the beta?

1st, 2nd, & 3rd Person mode views What is the difference?
concurssi replied to Gunter Severloh's topic in OFFTOPIC - Games & Gaming
I could be wrong, but I think 2nd person would be looking at your character through some other character's eyes.
