    Assuming that you download the game from Sprocket?

    Sprocket installer has a bug where is does not install a registry for you [ARMA 2]

    Here is my fix [My own experience]

    If you are using

    Windows XP:

    Start > Run > Type in "regedit.exe" (Without "")

    Windows Vista or 7:

    Start > Search all programs and files > Type in "regedit" (Without "")

    Now you see:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

    HKEY_USERS

    HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG

    Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2

    [Note: It is the one with Studio NOT the one with only Bohemia Interactive as it is for BattleEye instead]

    Now you will find 3 Files by normal in the ArmA 2

    - (Default) Type : REG_SZ

    - KEY Type : REG_BINARY

    - MAIN Type : REG_SZ

    If one is missing then everything is ABNORMAL

    So check that if there is a REGISTRY Named "MAIN"

    (Most likely there is no MAIN that caused your system not reconigze the game)

    Don't worry if the MAIN is missing, it can be created manually

    To create a new one at the Right Box.

    Right click > select New.

    Select String Value and Name it "MAIN" (Without "")

    After it is created, Right click the MAIN and click Modify

    Under the Value, type in the directory of your ArmA 2 is installed

    E.g. C:\Program Files(x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ARMA 2

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

    So to double check, you can proceed to

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2 OA

    or

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2 BAF

    and you will notice they all have the MAIN REG_SZ File

    a brief explanation!

    install the arma2, I try to update from 1.05 to 1.08 I get an error at the end of extracting the contents, you can not install (note error: ARMA2 is not installed, or the file is corrupted) that is the error message .

    AOH then install updates it WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM 1.50 1.55 WITHOUT A PROBLEM, WITHOUT BAF TRBL INSTALLED AND I CAN play PERFECT.

    but does not sync the 2 in OA, ARE TWO SEPARATE GAMES, IS INSTALLED IN THE SAME FOLDER ALL TOGETHER, BUT TOGETHER

    I have no idea, it is assumed that installing OAH, you should upgrade arma 2, and it does not

    these games all come down from the site of Bohemia Interactive.

    And everything works fine OA BAF, LESS ARMA2

    AND SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH IS NOT VERY GOOD =)

    does not work! I get into a.rma2 fuciona leaves no maps or anything or do not understand I try to upgrade from 1.05 to 1.08 gives me error

    Expansion in the game just see main menu oah
