Ok well i was thinking of starting up my group its going to called mithril. this was going to be a group for people the age of 18 + mainly as im 23 years of age and i play with people. around my age or into their 30's. this is to eliminate drama as much as possible. cause lets face it we play games to have fun and if we are not having fun. then something is wrong. either way this group would be focused around the primary goals of no drama no ranks and playing often. trying to do something every chance we get. we are not just going to play us or nato or this or that. we are going to play what is fun and do what is fun. if you want to make a mission or find one and share and play it. i would love to play it and im sure other people would to. now onto what i can do i can provide a server for arma 3 and i can provide teamspeak and if i think we are getting somewhere a website. also we can as many other games as we want. so if your looking for something laid back and not to over the top or trying to be that marine or army soldier in some unit this might be for you. give me a message if you want and i will send you the teamspeak info. and yes we will be playing tactically not just running around shooting crap like rambo so a basic skill set would be to see not required

what is your fps ?

ok so i have been having horrible fps issues with my system and i have a amd fx 8120 and a 7970. and im getting horrible fps with no matter what start up options i use or settings i change in game. as i can can run on low to ultra and see almost no difference in the fps. and i was going to see if any body could help out with this before i switch from being a amd guy over to a i7 4th gen k cpu and new motherboard

well i have issues as well with the 7970 and the amd fx 8120 is my cpu i also have 8 gigs of ram. and i also get horrible fps and yes i over clocked my cpu to 4 gigs. so any help would be great

ok i have done that i hate to tell you it dont work. and i have said what does not work. "client is reciving persistent data please wait" i get stuck at that i followed guide. i repeated guide. did not work. repeated guide again did not wor. posted on here getting nothing usefull then follow guide. i ask friend who deals with my sql for a living we get no where. i repeat again by my self still nothing. i ask on here for help again i get follow the guide it works they say. well not getting me any where so teamspeak help would be great.

ok so here is the log http://pastebin.com/LYSFabP1 here is what i have done. removed my sql reset every thing and wiped it clean started new followed the guide to the last detail still same issues log shows nothing me and a friend could not figure out the problem and i could use some help big time with this.

there are no logs to give and i dont want to install things i dont really need atm. i need a more general idea of why this would happen i think i fixed it my self

hello im having some issues getting the persistent data base setup on my server. and was wondering if any body could help me out? issue i have right now is client is loading persistent data. but it never goes past that.

not that my fps is bad but could be a bit better. but i noticed no increase playing with memory allocator or vram settings and well yea general stuff but ether way no increase in fps for me at all. and i dont think the memory allocator is switching me over to the one i want and is keeping me on the bis one idk why tho. any help none the less would be appreciated it

Hello i have a yellow chain. this is 24 7 on every server i go to. and i dont know how to fix it. this is only recent that this has happened. help fixing this would be nice .

im starting to have some issues with my server. and it kinda varies based on the mission. i have tried changing the configs and it seams to do notthing and i run just fine on arma 2. can any body send me there config or some thing that would be of help with this issue ?

what is command to disable hyper threading ? and can any body help me with my frames. im on a amd 8120 8 gigs of ddr3 ram a ssd with a 7970

ok im running at 8 core cpu from amd at 4 gigs a core with 8 gigs of ddr3 ram and on a ssd with a 7970 and my frames are horrible some times. i also have noticed when you are on a dedicated server. all people connected get random fps drops for like 10 seconds then it goes back to normal. i also noticed some missions run well only on self hosted servers. and will not run well on dedicated at all. so at this point and time im going to say. cpu not optimissed and is a bottle neck. that bottle neck bottle necks the gpu. the gpu also has issues and needs to be worked on. its hit or miss with this game on fps so can we get some help with the 7970 as well. not to many people have this card but i do. and would like to see it work well. on another note how i know this game has issues. i get 60+ fps in arma 2 amazing i know right ? so please any thing i can do to help let me know

well yea masterfrag we just need to say hey unoptimised for most things and things could be better cause i have noticed hardly any frame rate improvement by changing settings at all and the cpu ussage is so low its a bottle neck to the gpu. my fans for my 7970 will not even turn on for the game. my cpu stays at 15 percent totally usage with every thing running on my comp. so ether cpu is verry optmised which i dought cause this is a sim with thousands of math equasions going off so no way its not going to use more then 8 percent of one 4 gig cpu core. so i say gpu and cpu needs to be tweaked and fixed

i was going to ask if any body had a 6970 and if they know of any good ways to get good performance for it. also i have a ssd and a 8 core cpu from amd on windows 7
