Hello! I was hoping someone would like to help me out here. I'm making a mission where I want an enemy AI sniper to call a CAS in a certain area at a certain time. I've been searching around in forums, google and youtube but couldn't find the solution. /Kapten rödskägg

@the hebrew hammer I'm not 100% sure what you suggest but it seems a lot simpler than the alternative by TeTet. I tried with sending in an aircraft "manually" with the waypoint "destroy" directed to a tank but the aircraft wouldn't fire. If i could make the airplane drop the bomb I wouldn't need anything else. Any idea? what is event handlers and UnitPlayFiring?

Couldn't find another thread with this problem. Only related (?). I had the well-known "texture problems" so I decided to try upgrading my ATI graphic drivers. After reboot of the computer the windows resolution was 720x480 (16bit). I found that weird but I turned the settings back to 1920x1200 (32). I started Arma2 to see if the new drivers would help me get rid of the texture problems. It turned out the game resolution also were changed to 720x480. Now I can only choose between 720x480 and 640x480 (16 or 32 bit) in the video settings. I tried manually to change the resolution in config file but nothing happened. Is anyone else having the same problems? Any solution? Here's some system specs: ATI Radeon 5770 HD Graphic drivers: Driver Packaging Version 8.892-110914m-125026C-ATI Catalyst version: 11.9 CPU: Intel Core Quad 2.66ghz 4gb ram DDR2 Windows XP 32-bit

yes I did that but the game just made a new one with the same settings.. I made a system restore and reinstalled arma 2. Seems like it's working now. Thank you for your help!

It's only in arma. (What I know of) at least not in windows or battlefield BC 2... I'm sure it's driverrelated since the problem occured after install of new drivers. Right now I'm reinstalling the game, maybe that works. ---------- Post added at 09:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:59 PM ---------- Nope. Reinstalling the game didn't work... Now I have no idea what to try.

ok, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver. arma still doesn't work in the correct resolution... Any other idea?

Hello! Me and my friend wants to play arma together in a near future. I own Arma 2 and Arrowhead but he only owns arrowhead. We want to play the original arma 2 maps as well but he can't afford it right now. Is it possible to install my Arma 2 on his computer in order to play the game together since the game asks for the Arrowhead disc? Don't get mad, we'll only be doing this one time.

There's this move I would appreciate. Sometimes when I lie in the grass I have to select the '3rd person view-button' if I want to know where the enemies are without getting shoot at. Therefore I think it would be more realistic if there was button making the player slightly peek over the grass. Maybe it would be possible making the move into levels by having a hold-button while scrolling or something like the "free-view" Alt button... What do you think?

This is a problem but I don't like the idea with transparent grass. Instead I'd be ok with a button making your player get rid of the grass just in front of you, like it is now when crawling. It would also be good if you could push away a few branches and textures on bushes with the same button.
