    Sorry for asking u but i have a nice idea for a little script i wanna have in my map...

    BUT...

    i am a Scripting noob... so can u do this ???

    my idea is... i wanna have a Busstop on airport.. if a Player move into this area, a Actionmenu-entry is available to call a Bus.. A AI Controlled Bus will arrive and then the player is able to set the way to a point, he want to travel to....

    Can u do this for me ?

  2. Yeah. I'll update it for all helicopters.

    You know, in the initial version, I was using flag poles to represent ropes. I'm thinking about just dropping that altogether. It would be a lot easier to just add the script to all vehicles in the class "helicopter". So then players would just fall down to the ground like in the scirpt, but there would be no flag poles arranged to look like a deployed rope. Hell an invisible rope can't be much worse than some flag poles. lol..What do you think?

    I Think if u use the global class "Helicopter" u are not able to seperate some "Flyable" ( Domination Map Scripts ... i use it on Domination Map )

    Flagpoles..... i guess better than nothing and MUTCH more better than a Addon !!

    But what do we have else than Flagpoles ???

    Please no addon.........

    The Scripts u are working at sounds cool!!! I wanna insert some of them in my map....

    Wich project u will start first?

    ( i hope the Rope script )

  3. Well that son of a gun. He should get off his dead butt and help you.

    I got this on my list of scripts. Yeah, as you can see, I have been not too active publicly with releasing my scripting. Not playing as much these days and I'm editing less. I got about 15 scripts I am about to release for OA/A2: combined ops.

    The rappel script is on my list of stuff to fix for OA. I will do that next. Should hit it tomorrow or day after. Stay tuned.

    In fact, I'll release all the stuff I got this week. Might as well. Most of it works great.

    I need Help on General Carvers old Rappelscript

    I ve used it on old Arma 2 Server i a Map and it works 100%

    Now i try to use it in OA / CO and i change the Vehiclenames to OA Vehicles

    and it dont work anymore

    Weird is... if i Use the old Arma 2 Chernarus Map with the new OA Server

    the Script will work 100 %

    I also try to change the Position for the "Rope" appear on the Side of the Chopper and adjusted it finally.. but the Players who use the Rope are Dead if they reach Ground...

    General Carver isnt reachable anymore... so can someone Help me fixing this Script to work with the new OA Choppers`?

    I Like this Script cause no Addon is needed and all Players can Join....

  5. 1. About the NVG at the intro :

    Ok, I understand.

    Replace the

    #include "R3F_ARTY_AND_LOG\init.sqf"

    by

    execVM "R3F_ARTY_AND_LOG\init.sqf";

    as said in the installation manual since 1.4 or 1.5.

    Didnt Read it in the Manual of 1.6 to change it to execVM !!!

    2. About the types of container :

    Some containers class names are from A2 and others from OA.

    Keep all these class names in the config even if you play only with OA or A2... that's not a problem.

    In the version you sent me, I wasn't able to move by the player, lift or use as a cargo your containers.

    Are you using the ACE mod ?

    There are many class names for containers. Beware of using the right ones (or to keep all the ones I listed in the default config !).

    Sorry Dude... between the Time i wrote u my first "Help-Me" and youre first answer, i have done alot of more tests with different containers that was the reason u cant do anyting with the containers in the version is send to u..

    BUT:

    I forgot a little Useless funny script called Touchbody in the Mission, i have had tested it before i start to insert the 1.6 Arty & Log System.... i ve only inserted it to see the Funny Function to nudge a teamplayer...

    I forgot to remove this Useless Script and that was the reason of the Containerproblem....

    BUT NOW !!!!

    IT WORKS IT WORKS IT WORKS !!!!

    I LOVE U !!!! ( Like a friend... u Know ?!?! ?

    U Saved all my Hours in the Future when i play this Game...:yay:

    now I must not do without the Arty and Logsystem

    I tested your Domi. There is no bug in the R3F arty & log.

    1. About the time of the day :

    There is no problem about that. It works as expected, arty & log don't modify the time.

    Be sure to select the right hour in the mission parameters (from the interface of players' slot).

    2. About the containers :

    You edited yourself the configuration of the file R3F_LOG\addons_config\arma2_CO_objects.sqf

    You removed the lift and cargo features of most of the container types.

    Restore the default config file to get it back.

    to 1. During my tests i allways use the same timesetting ingame "5 o Clock"

    but if the Arty Part is active the Screen at login sequence turns green ( from 5 starts of the Introsequence the Screen 3-4 Times is Green and the Rest is Normal

    If the Arty Part is Deactivated the Screen ALLWAYS normal and i can start the Game 100 Times... NO Change

    to 2.

    Most of the Containertypes in youre Orginal List of Liftables,are not ingame anymore. ( The Editor Pops up with This Message ) and the 2 Types of Containers i have in the Map, are also in the List of Liftable Containers.. The Reason was not "I CANT LIFT " it was "BEFORE I CAN LIFT THE CONTAINER" i have to Move it by Player and THEN i can Lift and Load someting into...

    By the Way, i have the Old 1.3 Version in a Copy of my Map with the Same Config of Liftables and ALL WORKS !!!

    This is Weird...

    ......pardon me but there MUST be somthing wrong....

    AH.. THX alot... now i found the failure... i typed in this "()" Letters instead of this {}

    Oh by the way.. is this Function also usable on Bots who patroling in our Base ???

    EDIT: i ve checked it in my map.. the Botavengers who patrolling in base only the first time will be deleted.. after respawming the wreck is present and dont be deleted anymore... how can i solve this ?

    Important: Any soldier you use this on, has to have a varname.

    It's based on an script I used for giving orders to respawning AI soldiers, only just changed it (it's not tested).

    2. How can i add a Markername on each vehicle i use it on? ( Vehiclename in Mapeditor)

    3. can i Stop turning the Markers ? cause they turn the same direction as the Vehicle

  9. you dont even need a script for this. into the vehicle's init line goes:

    this addEventHandler ["Killed",{(_this select 0) spawn {sleep 30; deleteVehicle _this}}]

    HI.. i try it but this code wont be accepted. Editor say missing )......

    However, what went wrong with your try is the call of the script in the init line, must be:

    _nul = [this] execVM "delete.sqf"
    

    I tryed this too with the DeleteVehicle.sqf from above but it dont work too

    Can somebody help?

    First of all... my English isnt really good

    I Have a Problem with youre great Script

    Yesterday ive added the Arty and Logistic system to the OA Domination Map

    CO30_Donination_2_54A2_West_R_OA.Takistan

    Both ( Arty and Logistic Part ) works but i found 2 Failures during Gametest

    the First is In the Logistic...

    Ive added differnt Containers with Mapeditor, to lift but i cant lift up any container till i move one of them by me (ingame) .. after i moved one of the Containers, i am able to lift all.... I also cant Load someting into the Container till i moved some of them by the Playermove

    the Second is:

    Each Time i enable the Arty Feature, the Gamestart ( flying Camera to Playerposition ) turns most Time into green like a "Join-the-Game" at Nighttime .. but it is Daytime on Map. As long as the Introsequence is running, the Screen wont change .. after them is is normally ( most times) and sometimes the gammalevel is too high.

    If i disable the Arty Feature everything is ok i can start the game 100 times and all is ok (apart from the lack of the Containers )

    PLEASE Help !!! I wont play the Domination without youre phantastic System

    bye the Way i have the Arma 2 installation and now ive added the Operation Arrowhead
