  1. The "T-50" isn't even close to being fielded, once in the production curcuit, it's not as though thats a 'done deal, lets move on to the next one'.

Hmm... Maybe you should predict more of the future.

The SU-35 still works off of older combat/flight principles - no doubt a great aircraft - but lets be realistic about this. How many do you think will be produced? Not alot.. Of those, how many operational within squadrons? Im sure a 3rd would be designated... What about sortie rate? Or best of all using a "older generation" avionic suite, to compete with newer, fielded, western jets.

Putin just ordered 35 of Su-35s, they will be built till 2015. It is a 4++ generation jet, which uses modern technology, and it will be probably better than the majority of US jets like modernized F-16. What this jet doesnt have is some stealth characteristics.

After 2015 Russia and India will order a couple of hundreds T-50. The jet will be the analog to american F-22, which by the way wont be built anymore because it's too expensive. ;)

Anyways... I just wanted to say that Russia has enough money to develop new weapons, technology etc. to disprove your statement. They dont do this too excessive as the Americans do, because there is no necessary need for too many expensive projects. They just want a smaller and more modern Army to defend themself, and not what the Americans do, to invade smaller countries to "defend the freedom". :D

  2. How can I guide Kh missiles on SU-25 or SU-39?
    Aim for a laser

    What?

    http://ace.dev-heaven.net/wagn/Missile_Guidance_Improvements+howto#Kh-29L%20%28Su-25/etc%29

I aim, press "Space", but I cannot lock on the target. I have no visual lock on nor acoustic confirmation. And I get too often "distance too high"...

Edit: Ok, I found the problem, aiming is buggy. I cannot aim with the crosshair, the laser shows way lower than this crosshair, the laser is not even on the hud.

Edit 2: The proof. I was aiming at the hangar...

  3. @Linux I'm very happy for you that your going to use Linux but that doesn't really impress me I have to work with Linux for my profession. And if you ask me it should stay there. Windows sometimes sucks but you are at least able to play games on it decently without having to run windows emulators and crappy drivers. At the end every one switches back to windows for gaming and why? BECAUSE IT'S EASY!

No. Installing apps on Linux is usually more easier than in Windows, if this apps are compiled for Linux. But most apps/games are no Linux apps, so that's why you cannot use Linux for serious gaming.

And I haven't switched back to Windows yet, but I use it as a gaming machine.

I gave up on trying to play rFactor with mods because there was no 'total package' or an auto-installer for them all. I know how to install mods manually for rFactor and ArmA2, but I'm not about to install hundreds of them by hand/install or uninstall new and old ones by hand every day if I want to play with other people.

This depends on the server where you want to drive. On www.bockbierbude.de you can find an "autoupdater" which downloads and updates mods for you.

  4. What do I have to do to win this mission?

I shot all enemies and tanks, than I had to return to the base, on the way there my plane was shot down, I ejected. Than I ran to the LZ where I killed all enemies, the helicopter came for me, but it never came down, it just hangs in the air near LZ.

    So what's the problem?
