The game really comes alive on cooperative multiplayer, nothing else like it.

Check the .rpt file to see if any clues. Windows events Drivers up to date? Hope that shows something of use. Beyond that many better experienced people on here than me may be able to help

Best bet would be to start with each mod slowly and separately. I've had similar problems since buying the game a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, there's tons of reading needed and lots of trial and error. Even when some addons are working they still raise error messages that can be ignored; however knowing which can be ignored is another guessing game :) I'd start with CBA and load that, with no errors, then move onto ACE, then other ACE mods and do similar with all other mods. Assuming you're running Arma2 and Operation Arrowhead the latest mods are good, otherwise some, such as CBA need careful handling. Six updater is a good place to start although not intuitive as it will keep some of the 'core' mods up to date. Hope this helps some.

It seems like it's trying too hard to be mw2 with bc2 graphics and fails at both. I love bc2 simply because it's bc2 and mw2 because it's mw2 and after my first ever online arma game last night arma because it's arma. Each of these games have their own identity and should keep it IMHO. Just my opinion.

Will a graphics card upgrade (GTX480) make this system run Arma 2/OA on full settings or are some processor/memory upgrades required too? Had this the other day. It's cos the 1.3 mod in the official repository doesn't actually contain the second part (CBA_A2) that's required when installing for Arma 2 only. The version I got to finally work (after 5 hours of fiddling) was CBA_v0-6-0.7z Unfortunately I cannot remember the address I downloaded it from but I still have it and can send you a copy if you pm me your mail.
