Wouldn’t you need to delete the actual units set as captive as well? Not sure if they would reference the ACE mod as well.
This is where editing the sqm file gets a little squirrelly because you have to adjust the number of items as well.

To finish off our six week deployment in Finland, 1st Air Assault was tasked with providing security to a BBC news team who were looking for evidence proving Russia was behind the foreign invasion.
Unknown to our general membership until the very last minute, two members took on the role of reporter and cameraman. The unit was given strict instructions to cover their faces and withhold any personal information from the news crew, just offering up assigned callsign and role in the group. Between the in-game action, excellent role-playing and clever video editing, we ended up with a very nice video!
All in-game action, nothing staged.

Finally had time to wander though all the new and improved stuff, nice!!!!
Love all the new technical and enjoyed to see the vehicles are weighted to show the immense weight of some of the weapons you've added to the back of the Hiluxs! And some interesting choices they are indeed!

Our group has a drone practice training range consisting of four MQ12 falcons. They aren’t grouped together in any fashion but when anyone fires a rocket from a nearby drone or DAP (Cup) the drones will suddenly start spamming rockets down range.
The drones are usually not being used when this occurs. Anyone hear of this or know a possible solution?

Upped damage we could take, gave more time for CPR to be administered. We don't like wounds reopening, that was wayyyyy to much of a hassle.

I think we’ve finally managed to get the settings right to have what could be considered a relatively ‘realistic’ medical system but not spend the whole mission playing ‘combat medic’ simulator.
We still have to perform CPR more than we ever did, but everything else is good.

Finally completed editing Day One Part Two!
Some operational notes. This is edited down from about 4 hours of mission time. We were struggling with tweaking the ACE medcial system which had just been updated at the time of the mission. At this point bad guys took 30+ rounds to go down and we went unconscious with one shot and stayed down for 10 - 15 minutes. Check out the number of dead bad guys seen throughout the mission, we did pretty well!
Mission Background The group's very first deployment is to Altis, Greece where political unrest in neighboring countries have reached the shores of the tourist-filled Greek Island Altis. Many intelligence agencies, including NATO’s feel extreme political groups are using the unrest as an opportunity to grab power through misinformation and violence.

Let me get this right. To back up an opinion that Arma 3 isn’t as good as its predecessors your going back and looking at models that may've been brought forward (and more than likely improved)?
While not authorized to do so, I feel comfortable apologizing in behalf of BI that world history wasn’t changed, more military vehicles designed and built so BI would have different pool to pull from. I guess we should really be upset with the superpowers for not creating more vehicles and aircraft that could be used for a game like Arma.
On a side note, I would like to bring into the conversation all those players who’s felt BI didn’t port enough stuff from the prior games. These players say BI suck for not doing that.
It’s good to know we’re ignoring all the radar, lighting, character model, unique uniform item improvements seen in Arma 3 because really, how would any of that matter in a conversation like this.Finally, no one has to buy or play Arma 3. It’s your choice. Many people here feel Arma 3 is better than 2 but you don’t see anyone coming on the Arma 2 forums asking ‘Arma 2-why is even still around?’

I find it so funny when people talk about how awesome the performance of Arma 2 is. Yes, it’s awesome now because you’re essentially playing a 10 year old game on a modern PC.
When it came out, we had exactly the same concerns players have now with Arma 3; players running it with older hardware or maxxing out the settings and expecting a consistent 60+FPS.
The cream of the Arma crop have given some great feedback and ideas for a new player to maximize a players time and enjoyment in Arma 3. I would listen to them as opposed to an account whose every post has been to slam Arma 3 and doesn’t apparently know there are dedicated forums for the game they prefer to play, Arma 2

If we’re giving opinions on what’s a joke, I have some posts that are coming to mind.....
I thought Arma 2 was awesome. Had so many incredible experiences playing it.
Haven’t played Arma 2 beyond a nostalgic twenty minute stint since Arma 3 came out of beta.

At the time of writing, 1st Air Assault is midway through our very first deployment. The full deployment should have us in theater for 8 weeks.

Things are moving along nicely at 1st Air Assault;
- First class have graduated with honors from the group's Fundamental Skills Training
- We're having discussions around opening the second squad
- At the time of writing, 1st Air Assault is midway through our first deployment (campaign). We should be deployed for a total of 8 weeks.
We're looking for the right players to join, we consider this as;
- Good attitude
- New player (Just bought game) awesome, we've all been there and are more than happy to walk you through everything
- Experienced player
- Serving or veterans. While we don't use ranks and no one calls anyone 'Sir' we follow enough practices to make you smile, but not enough to feel like you're at work or back in uniform

Brilliant idea. Nothing is more of a show stopper than having group members unable to join a mission because of missing DLC.
As with your other stuff, this mod makes the must have list for mission-makers!

You should check out 3Den Enhanced editor. It adds the feature of backpack on chest in the units attributes (I think)

It looks like you need to add UniformItem as a class. At the very top with your other classes put
class UniformItem;
Also, you need to use the more updated hitpoints for your vest

I would be very surprised if anyone is going to have you send over the config, do all the work and then send it back.
You should put your config in a post, someone will tell you what needs to be corrected and you’ll learn something along the way!

I’m would recommend getting the class name of a pair of NVGs, find the relevant games PBO, depbo it and find that part of the config. The best way to make sure you get what you need 🙂
